Devs...come on now
So the devs decided to make the purple outfits for the RE survivors linked. Both outfits use the character's default head, so you're paying 1080 cells for 2 cosmetic pieces instead of 3. Good job devs, you never fail to surprise me.

PSA: if you want to buy the outfits, buy the chest and legs separately without the head for 800 instead of 1080.But yeah, this is really messed up and they should be called out on this.

The head pieces might be glitched.
I mean, give them the benefit of the doubt, at least for now until they make a statement or something. At least give them till the weekend or 1 week at best.
If these are not glitched.... Well, we might have Billy's pants v2 problem on our hands again.

Oh that's really screwed up then. Hopefully it's unintended because when I looked at them in the store when the chapter came out they weren't linked :/
Edit: Looks like they've since fixed it and yeah, I can confirm they're linked sets now.

Just restarted my game, I feel a little robbed now that I've bought them unlinked and they're now linked

I bought just the jacket and restarted my game and tried to change my cosmetics on Leon to see if they stayed the same. It’s just equipping the whole set as if I bought it when I just bought the jacket. They better refund me my 400 cells if they take it away from me

The sets now being linked is very unfortunate as it does mess with the amount of customization you can do with Jill or Leon. Ignoring the matter of paying more for a headpiece (for Jill) that is the same as default, you can't mix and match almost any of their cosmetics now. Hopefully, the linking is an error, and it gets resolved as it is unfair for people who bought the outfits thinking they would be unlinked.
