3 hits to down with Nemmy feels a bit rough
Seems like there are a lot of places where you are only going to be able to hit good survivors with the tentacle. So there's a free mettle of man effect by default for the first tentacle hit to get them infected, then an additional 4(?) vaccines for some more mettle of man effects. Which would mean Nemmy sometimes needs to get an extra 8 hits per match compared to a regular killer. That's ignoring zombies, but they don't really get hits aside from indoor maps
I don't know man. It feels like either Nemmy needs a buff or survivors need to have no speed boost whenever they get hit with the tentacle. Am I crazy or does it feel like Nemmy takes way too long to down survivors compared to other ranged killers? (Pyramid Head, Huntress etc.)

I guess that's not really been my experience so far - I'd honestly say that his hitbox feels twice as unforgiving as PH's attack, imo. You can use it in the same way, but the range/width/angles are much more limited. Not to mention the LOS blockers and crouching invincibility. Take all that with a grain of salt, I'm playing on console. Might be easier on PC
Let's say I were to agree about good Nemmy players being able to land 3 hits at pallets/windows in quick succession. I guess my bigger gripe would be that the best counterplay to him then would be to just hold W, which is boring for everyone. That works well against PH too, but it's so much worse with Nemmy because of the 2 speed boosts and 3 hit requirement

It's very abusable by a good player. There's absolutely no reason to get zoned by the tentacle when you aren't infected because it doesn't actually hurt you. The killer gives the survivor a free Sprint Burst just to be able to injure them with the next attack. Every Nemesis chase on me so far has been me juking 2 or 3 tentacles, tanking a hit, and using the speed burst to get to a distant tile. It's 20 seconds minimum just to start the chase for this killer, essentially. I don't know what they were thinking with this. Balancing for rank 25s. You give survivors 8 free health states by selecting Nemesis. It's absurd.

For real. I had to clip this one just to show how tight the aiming needs to be. For PH/Demo/Huntress, that aim easily would've been a hit
