Endless Crashing

in Bug Reporting

Game keeps crashing, and it's not just me - happening to my SWF duo buddy as well. Crashing when vsing all kinds of killer, has crashed on Hag and Bubba. Most of the crashes happen with Nemesis though. Please turn off dc penalties while this bug is active... My duo and I both have gotten 15 min penalties from the crashing :|

    Having the same issue on Nintendo Switch. My friends and I are getting software errors, and then we lose 2 points and have time penalties. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

    This has been happening to me as well!!!


    I will either get DC'd in the loading screen, or in a match almost ALWAYS right when I touch a generator using the Claire Redfield skin.

    It's disconnected me multiple times using this skin the second I touch a generator.

    But it was giving me blood points after it would kick me and show that the host actually disconnected (but that wasn't the case at all the game was just kicking me due to a bug). I thought maybe it was my internet, but I've been eyeing it while playing with some applications and it isn't my internet- it's the game.

    And of course, it is so frustrating to have the DC penalties when I'm not even at fault. ):

    Here's a picture showing that it says that it is the killer that has DC'd and I get all my blood points.

    I tried with another skin, and the same thing happens. The first action I do in the game makes the game freeze forever, and then it disconnects me rewarding me with an Unbroken Iridescent emblem in survival. Like... what the heck. This makes me so sad... The game is literally unplayable... hopefully they fix everything soon.

    Yep same thing was happening for me! I was also getting all of my bloodpoints back and being told that the killer DCed, but still got hit with the penalties myself. Sometimes the 'social servers' or w.e would mess up too, and I would have to reload DBD to be able to invite my friend to the game. Absurd that they didn't catch these glaring bugs before the patch went live :/
