Okay, I'm not going to talk about much of his tentacle since I'm semi-okay with it but I'm going to talk about his zombies and coughing sound after getting infected - IT'S TOO STRONG FOR A KILLER THAT CAN ATTACK THROUGH OBSTACLES!!!!! Trying to flashlight save? Too bad, you're infected and coughing. Trying to sneak past him but got spotted by zombies? Too bad for you, now he's coming for you. Even against plague survivors have an infinite amount of fountains to cleanse and they heal you but when versing a Nemesis you either play competitive and do gens as fast as possible or die on a meat hook. If his detection part of his kit isn't going to be nerfed or tweaked, I guess I'm gonna play Dwight with Wake up, spine chill, resilience, left behind, and sit in a locker entire game because of how oppressive his default kit is.

Plus on top of Doctor's insane information gathering abilities he can destroy most short loops and vaults with his shock ability anyway, dicking the survivors even more.

    That was... Unexpected.

Lmao people do gens as fast as possible no matter who the killer is. Let's not pretend most survivors have any interest in actually engaging the killer or being chased or going near danger.

That said, I disagree with everything except the limited vaccines. I think it's ridiculous, I think he could have been made better to where he wouldn't need zombies or infecting people, at least not the infection type we have. An Oni/Slinger/Plague hybrid would have sufficed. He could dash around the map for pressure, obviously using meter, which fills with successful attacks. Once it reaches tier 2, you can grab a survivor with your tentacle and infect them, where they would be able to vaccinate at set places on the map, ala Plague. Once he reaches tier 3, he could grab with tentacle and dash toward and instadown, using all meter and having him start over at tier 1. No add-ons to prolong instadown, only to tier up slightly faster, have survivor infection (which could lead to death) advance faster, dash speed, etc.

I like his zombies. They’re fun. But MAN he really doesn’t need them, at least if he doesn’t just go with his base perks. In the last day I’ve had trouble completing multiple gens, opening a gate, and was even downed immediately after being taken off of a hook. The pests are veritable mobile slowdown perks, lol.

I disagree. I think he's fine as he is though I've only played against him. The only thing he really has going for him I feel are the zombies since without them he's just a pyramid head clone that comes from a very popular game. The zombies are what makes him unique and cool to go against. The zombies add a new layer to playing killer. They can help you down survivors, help you get survivors off generators and help you be able to damage them with the power. Its really good for that alone. Without Zombies as I said he's just a PH rip off. I like that the zombies can stop survivors in chase or get them off gens its just something new and fresh to consider while playing. Not to mention survivors can kill or stun the zombies and I'd say that makes it more okay. If you're that worried about them you can bring that pallet resetting perk and you just kill the zombie nearly for free.

Ok I don't see him as being that strong. I don't think he needs the zombies to be effective.

This is a better idea than the others I've seen so far but we already have enough killers that dash. I think if he infects someone they should build that infection up over time. If it builds up then Nemesis has a free down on that survivor until they vaccinate themselves. After vaccination the infection should slowly decrease in time and until it does that survivor is broken.

It's a bit like plague but his power is centered on the T-Virus, so you have to make it work somehow.

I think Nemesis is fine the way he is but I wouldn't be upset with something like this.

Um... no. He requires 3 hits to hit you through obstacles as he has to contaminate you first, while huntress can do it in 2 and from range (unlike Nemesis who is fairly short range). Nemesis is one of the most balanced killer releases we've had in a while, and probably will be a very average killer in the long run. (Which will mean he's unpopular as he's not super strong like nurse/spirit)

At least with plague, you got an infinite amount of fountains that heal you and you can force her to use corrupt purge early while with nemesis vaccine are limited, you can get interrupted by zombies or nemesis himself since you have to search it first, then inject it. Pyramid Head takes skill since he is actually hard to master but much easier than nurse oh and you can't turn around with P-head M2 while nemesis can. I wouldn't care about his oppressive part of the kit if it wasn't for the detection part of his kit since it takes less effort for him to find you once you got infected or if you got spotted by a zombie and he can see that as well. My feeling is that he is similar to deathslinger, both have a small range attack, both have a small wind-up time compared to other killers that have somewhat range attack and both don't have any kind of limitation bar or need to reload in a locker when comparing to other killers. The only difference is that deathslinger is 4.4 movement speed killer and requires M&A/STBFL to get the full potential of his power while nemesis have both range attack and detection in his kit. At least that's is my opinion for now.

With plague, survivors are exposed all the time. Meta is to not heal until the last gen is completed. Meanwhile she is a insta down killer.

Getting infected from Nemesis has no downsides. But the benefit of needing 3 hits to get downed.

Btw, exposed status effects don't apply to his tentacle. Which makes him even weaker.

Oh boy, where do I need to start it... 1 Plague isn't an instant down killer, the insta-down killers are those that can instantly put you from a healthy state to a downed state aka chainsaw boys, oni, Myer's tier 3, Ghostface mark (I'm not going to mention other killers who's got iri addons to insta-down for the sake of saving time) by your logic Legion is also insta-down killer since his power grant you free hit on a survivor. About cleansing, I disagree with that as well, why you should be keeping yourself in broken status effect when you can cleanse from a pool that is far away and plague won't be interested coming from point A to point B just to get her power, if there are other pools available you just never cleanse in the middle or where's gen being worked on unless you can force her to get the power and other pools available back again.

Nemesis and plague infection work similarly the only difference that it don't put you into broken status. Basically iron will counter and with nemesis vaccines are limited while pools are not.

And as long as survivors stay infected (plague) and don´t drink from the Fountain they get instantly downed...

But this doesn´t stop survivors from pushing gens.

I'm going to say this again if you don't know what insta-down killers are, if survivor's losing one health state by killer's power and next time they get slapped by the killer they get downed that doesn't turn then into insta-down killer. By your logic if survivor don't heal after getting stabbed by legion feral frenzy this makes him an insta-down killer which in reality he isn't. Getting broken status effect means you can't get healed to second health state while killer with insta-down powers take 2 health states. Plague itself after infecting a survivor need to down him and her corrupt purge only takes 1 health state when used on the healthy survivor. SHE ISN'T A INSTA-DOWN KILLER IF SHE CAN'T INSTANTLY DOWN A SURVIVOR WITH HER POWER when you realize that?

  • Tsulan

Oh i fully understand her power. She infects survivors or objects, survivors get sick and have the broken status effect until they cleanse themself at a fountain.

BUT high rank survivors usually don´t cleanse themselves until all gens are completed. Meaning that during most part of the match, they can be downed with 1 hit. Be if a m1 attack or her puke.

Yet, this doesn´t stop survivors. Do you really think, that Nemesis who needs 3 hits to down a survivor is stronger than this?

lool are you kidding me ? he is super damn weak, zombies are not strong at all, you gotta calculate how often do they actually do something in a game not when it actually happens and it's very rare for them to do anything in most games.

huntress+deathslinger ( which can still be looped for 3-5 gens ) at least can counter shack, double windows, and all strong loops in general and also can mess up survivor movement by right clicking and scaring them and also have a lower terror radius especially on Deathslinger with monitor and abuse and they even have much stronger addons than nemesis in general and have insane range attacks, when nemesis only gets 5% m.s increase and 2 almost useless zombies that are glitching a lot of the time ( and that i've seen them do nothing in like 70%+ of the games i've watched especially in open maps ) and thirdly he breaks pallets abit faster but that's after some time and he is still slowed down quite a lot when he does it, so these killers are obviously way stronger than him and they are even stronger than that because nemesis needs 3 hits to down survivors ! and gives survivors 2 sprints bursts instead of 1!! ( which can waste the killer time by an extra 20 seconds by just holding w and that's with out any looping being done ) and his attack range is like 4 meters or 5, do i need to go on ? well he is taller than other killers so he is easier to counter in certain loops so here you go, oh one last thing btw don't mention the level 3 thingy cause its just an extra 1 meter and u get it when the game is basically over so it basically does nothing at all.

so yes he is very weak and C tier, but not so good survivors likes to complain about everything like always i guess.

Uh boy .... Someone that joined this forum (and the game maybe) for 6 months thinking they can explain something to a person that is already playing for 2 and a half years longer is purely hilarious. Even more so when it is simply about semantics. 😂

I played as and against nemesis, and the coughing is so obsolete... like you cough only every 2 minutes maybe?, and when I was playing as Nemesis, I never ever heard a survivor coughing, so it is not a game changer at all.

Compared to the plague, coughing is way more stronger.

And nemesis cant attack THROUGH obstacles but over obstacles only... he cannot reach a survivor from another side of a high wall as an exemple.

Also, zombies a real slow, only two of them on the map (outdoor maps they get so weak that it is almost a joke unless Nemy is good enough to mindgame you to a loop where a zombie is wandering)

The only real thing that is annoying with Nemesis's zombies is the collision with them, I mean if they hit you, they should remove the collision so you can pass through them, exactly like with a killer hit. Because in indoor maps, they can literally block you mid chase in sandwich with the killer behind. But that's all, Nemesis basekit is not TOO strong at all it is not OP nor really-bad-trickster-be-like. It is just very well balanced IMO.
