That should be your 10,000th post

Banned on my 10,000th post, how beautiful.

"Thank you all for your input, we understand your frustrations. As such, we shall be closing this thread.
Additionally, we've lowered tricksters blade count to 4, and banished BadBoyKaru to the sea of the damned "
8 -
One of the few reasons they did that was because of how bad a certain dev made them look by having an outburst on stream.
I guarantee if he hadn't ticked of the colorblind of the community then BHVR wouldn't have done it.
5 -
they break the once-per-person name change rule just to yeet me to BadBoyKaru lmao
6 -
Without ever intending to, it looks like they have finally shared the console experience with everyone.
Pull up a pew and I'll have someone take your drink order. Welcome brother!
5 -
Oh, I know the console experience. I played on Switch, a laptop that couldn't break 15fps and an old desktop that averaged 7.
I spent 1.3k to escape that hell. I know how awful it is.
And yet I am doomed to return
5 -
Dang you were so close to being out!
By the way, most excellent rant! :)

Only really started opening this thread after this patch, and after noticing the original posting date and number of pages in it.
Even during the tutorials where the maps are tiny and condensed, I was still getting freezes (and this is on PC.) I don't know how a problem goes this long without being taken care of or at the very least addressed, but wow... What a slap in the face.
7 -
If we don't get an acknowledgement of issues prior to this patch, I will reach out to some gaming news sites.
8 -
Well, now people with good PC's can enjoy the everyday Console experience.
How....fun.
12 -
Guess we'll have to wait for another week then for them to fix the stuff caused by this update.
Lord knows if they'll ever acknowledge how incompetent they've been with overall optimization.
3 -
There, this is my experience with this update.
Thanks BHVR
17 -
Thank you I was very angry.
I have since installed a tower fan into the side of my pc. A barely noticable adjustment that has lead to me being .2ยฐ cooler and not helped the issues at all.
EDIT: After posting this I went and hoovered the floor because I couldn't see how bad it was without taking the picture lmao.
Yay, awful eyesight

Like, the worst thing is that they HAVE Console testers!
There's always known issues on Xbox or PS4 and there were this patch too. They would've had to test this patch on Console to know that.
They released it KNOWING the enormous and possibly Console breaking issues it had.
13 -
Alright guys were almost there letโs get to 50 pages
#FixConsole
#ReleaseConsoleOptimization
11 -
Small adjustment. Barely noticeable.
I had a box fan pointed at my Xbox and it still overheated.
It has not turned on since, so I'm looking into fixes for that. Fingers crossed.
4 -
I'm really hoping we get some sort of acknowledgement of this soon with actual commitments to implement a performance only patch/update.
6 -
This is very similar to my Nemesis experience on Xbox.
Watching those clips just made me sad :(
6 -
Honestly, this is the clearest "Screw you guys,we only care about your money not about the game" from BHVR i've seen yet.
Can't believe BHVR seriously delivered their absolute biggest chapter in this state.
We didn't deserve this
9 -
Yeah,it's just depressing.
I was excited to play this update and grind for the new characters but this completely kills the mood
5 -
that sucks dude.
Also great transitions. It amazed me
6 -
Thanks,playstations Sharefactory saved me ๐คฃ

Found this article via Google News, oh dear...
7 -
Consolers: Is........ Is that a kompooter? Ohhhhhh ahhhhhhh
Yeah you hardly can tell there's a lighthouse fridge right next to $1k+
4 -
There's an article about it and it doesn't mention the awful optimisation.
At least they'll make RPD the best-running map in the game now

I played one killer match last night as Ghostface, was on Ormond and it was horrible. I only went stealth once because of how bad it froze when I entered into it. Luckily I wasn't playing serious match, just hooking survivors for archive challenge, so didn't care how I did but omg it was horrible. I thought it was bad as survivor but seeing first hand how it was as killer I don't know how there are any killers right now.
I won a copy of the RE DLC from a fog whisperer. Can't wait to experience the terrible frames playing as Nemesis. ๐ฌ
4 -
Well, I think we are the most viewed thread right now.
Congrats everyone! Let's keep it going until BHVR fixes the issues with the patch AND prior to it.
Unfortunately, because of this patch, our more fortunate PC friends are now also experiencing the issues we have been dealing with for years.
14 -
And I thought I'd escaped this hell :'(
5 -
:p
Not even death is an escape, remember?
No matter where you go or how much money you spend, DBD's ######### optimization will still find you.
8 -
I was going to play today to stream and grab more clips, but my Xbox overheated and it may be broken
3 -
215 new replies... oof
How's everyone doing today? Is the framerate better after the patch?
0 -
No.
It is worse.
4 -
LMAO
oh bestie you wish
not even us pc players are safe now
2 -
that really unfortunate.
hope it isn't.
2 -
I endured 2 years of piss poor optimization on the PS4 version and now I'm back to square one with my PC, it's beyond a joke now.
4 -
Nope.
I went down a couple ranks in a couple hours playing as Nemesis.
3 -
It's even worse than before lmao
12 -
Hopefully you can bring it back to life. After CoalTower had said his ps4 ran fine it died. I'm pretty sure DBD is now killing old consoles, won't need to optimize for dead systems.
4 -
Here's a thought... Maybe BHVR's plan all along was to brick consoles with the latest update so they don't have to optimize the game for previous gen.
13 -
Make sure to call Microsoft's customer service and get a representative, tell them exactly which game caused your console to overheat and die. Mention the game's newest update is at fault.
The companies will care if DbD is overheating/bricking their consoles.
11 -
Was there a patch today?
0 -
I guess he/she was asking about the Resident Evil Chapter patch
2 -
The funniest thing about this is that the devs don't care about addressing some of the biggest issues like broken Killers, weak perks, stagnant gameplay, and are focused on looking good to their idols on Twitter. Plus "updating the game to match modern games" without realizing that graphics is not above gameplay, and any newcomers attracted will leave the game if it is not satisfactory.

IT LIVES
VICTORY

YASSSSSSSSSS!
Congrats! I remember when Blight's chapter came out, most xbox1x machines (just those, not regular or slim xbox1's) like mine insta-overheated when you started DBD. Was unable ro launch the game until the patch the following week came out. I hope your console wasn't part of that mess too.
6 -
Good job, you're not the first casualty.
5 -
Capcom must be so proud to see their most lucrative franchise in the hands of something so broken. ๐
12 -
They got their money so it's fine lol
It's BHVRs fault anyway
8 -
At this point I hope companies start to see how BHVR is and start avoiding them.
