Counterforce are too op
When you have the perk hex in killer the surviver can find it very fastly, so for me you need to change this perk not just reveal the totem without hex because if you have noed that doesn't work but if it's just for make more faster the totem I think it's better

The aura of the totem that gets revealed is literally the furthest possible distance from the survivor after they cleanse their totem. They have to leg it across the map 4 times if they want all the totems gone, and they might get unlucky with the hex. That's several minutes of a survivor not doing anything but running across the map and doing bones. So at the start of the match, the game is a 3v1.

I am not seeing this perk except adept Jills. So i do not think that is problem.

It really isnt THAT good, its a somewhat decent perk at best, and i believe Small Game to be better than it. if anything people would mainly pick it due to the speed cleansing or pair it with SG.
I actually tried using both separately and i had a way easier time finding the totems with SG, since you only get a small glimpse with CF from a far away totem, which could also be cleansed by someone else before you even get there.

Having now played with the perk, it's not at all over-powered. You have to find your first totem for it to even trigger - and as stated above, the one it shows you is alllllllll the way across the map. On larger maps? The pink image is going to be VERY easy to miss entirely, and it doesn't stick around long. So even once you've seen it, you have to get all the way across the map and then still find the dang thing.
For folks who have a totem challenge, pairing it with Small Game would increase the usefulness - but that means two of four slots taken up with totem perks, which doesn't leave a lot of room for other useful skills.

Small Game is better imo as well, but pairing with Counterforce could be fun.

They need to rework hexes as a whole. Its the system that's flawed, not the counter.
The devs need to find a way to make totems more of an objective, while also keeping hexes viable for skilled players.

It's really not that good. Everyone is overreacting over this perk when detectives hunch is clearly better

no detective hunch is better, the speed is only going to help in a clutch scenario, otherwise its just going to backfire if the killer has haunted ground.

against a swf, Ruin is probably the worst thing you can run. You're better off running other perks, or playing ultra aggressive.
