And do a what some of us call a "Operation Health"

Seriously, this current update and dlc is bricking consoles and crashing even the best computers. Get off of schedule and focus on improvements instead of money and content.

No one will hate you for it, seriously.

I don't mind if they still put in skins (since I don't buy the overpriced stuff anyway), but I agree that they need to hold the new dlc and focus on their promised optimizing.

Not just performance, although that's the most glaring issue to deal with. I think for the rest of the year, BHVR needs to actively listen to the community and make the changes that most of us agree are necessary. Changing keys. Reverting the Billy nerfs (with the exception of charge addons stacking). Bridging the gap between SWF and solo queue by adding some form of communication for solo queuers, then buffing the non-top tier killers to be able to handle that.

Most importantly, learn to cancel upcoming changes that the community doesn't want. MMR? No one wants. "Graphical" updates that just make the maps even more horrendously unbalanced? Nobody asked for. Again, Billy nerfs despite him being one of the most balanced and fair killers in the game? EVERYONE was against that, and you didn't listen at all.

Take some time off trying to puke out half-finished new content. Fix the content that's already in your game before you add more. That'll be healthier for you, for the game and for everyone who plays it.

It is, and I am kinda amazed at how bad the update turned out to be. The new map is already gone, because of bugs, since release day. Nemesis causes stuttering and fps drops whenever he uses his tentacle, but I don't know how the fps drops are extended to every single killer. And you have those drops both as a killer and a survivor. Last but not least, although they claim to have solved that now, there were lots of connection issues that didn't even allow you to start the game.

A whole year wouldn't be enough, the mold on this spaghetti code is very resistant.

    Let's add a band-aid over the band-aid over the band-aid over the band-aid.

    That will do.

I played Demo too and also found that to be the case. Though I didn't attibute that to anything different from the normal situation, as Demo ALWAYS does that (on console).

I want too a freaking update about optimization, or multiple update, I don't care how much time it would take, but optimize the game, refactor the code, whatever, but make it healthy.

I disagree about the graphical updates - they're something that should be done that improve the health of the game especially moving to a new gen. If you look at the old maps they look considerably worse than the new ones we have and that ruins the experience. Nevertheless they should focus on fixing the game performance before doing these updates - or at least have less people working on them at once.

The sheer level of incompetency this update is absolutely astounding. We have multiple killers that are bugged, some of which DO NOT even function properly (Clown's gas no longer slows survivors or distorts their vision on a direct hit, Doctor's shock attack sometimes does not give madness on a shock attack hit, Nemesis gives survivors a massive speed boost when they're hit instead of being hindered, something that was a problem on PTB that STILL was not addressed, etc etc etc). That's just killers, that's not talking about literally any of the other bugs and problems the game introduced concerning optimization (which has always been dogwater but somehow got worse again) and connection, somebody needs to swap the hamster who's running the servers out with a new one, I think it's on the brink of death.

How is it that the build we had 3 weeks ago being the PTB was somehow more stable and less buggy than live, how? This is not even beginning to mention the buffs the community wanted for Nemesis were outright ignored not counting his power starve problem, which is less buff and more "hey this is an oversight with his power".

Does anyone know what the quality assurance team was doing??? Was this patch even TESTED before it came out?

It's crazy, on PTB it was buggy but had potential and then BHVR hard dropped the ball, again, like always. Way to completely destroy one of the biggest crossovers you had BHVR, just absolutely well done. It's starting to get impressive just how badly you can ######### up.

I'm on the same page, graphical updates are actually necessary and probably the closest thing to a "health update" that BHVR are currently doing. I think the addition of things like breakable walls are the reason why people have, justifiably, grown to resent the map overhauls. Breakable walls are frankly anti-fun in their current state.
