They were iredecent for a reason. And it's not like there were used that often. Now there usless.

Just because something is of a high rarity, doesn't justify said thing being absolutely game-breaking. Besides, the Devs said in the anniversary stream that Moris are going to be reworked again to incorporate them into regular gameplay instead of being an offering.

Iredecent things are supposed to be good. Addons are iredecent and there good, the skeleton key is iri and it's good. Iredecent things are supposed to be good in the game. Moris are no longer good.

I agree that moris in their current state are pretty worthless and not worth their price tag, but old moris were broken as hell. They let you remove a survivor from the game by catching them once and camping their hook. As soon as anyone unhooked them, you knocked them straight back down, bypassed DS/flashlights/any team attempt to save them besides Borrowed Time (which you could just wait out, or catch up to them and hit them again), and killed them. You now have a 3-man game at 4-5 gens.
Let's not pretend this wasn't how basically every game with an ebony mori went. It was extremely unfair and the game was not balanced around each survivor having just 2 hook states instead of 3. It'd be like if the survivors could bring an offering that lowered the number of gens that needed to be completed in a match. (So basically old BNP... or keys, but honestly, old moris were worse than keys for truncating a game. Point is, though, all of this stuff is/was broken and needs to go.)

I’m sorry but I have to kind of disagree with you on that the game is killer sided. The game can yes be killer sided at lower ranks and maybe solo but it’s not killer sided at higher rank swf.

Its close to impossible for the killer to hold the game hostage unless the survivor help the killer. Survivor on the other can hold the game hostage easy

Something being "rare" does not mean it cannot be nerfed.
You notice that I wrote "rare" - because the Iridescent Mori was actually the most common Mori since there were only 3 Iridescent Items for Killers to get in the Bloodwebs. And for those, who did not even have Iridescent Add Ons (or only one of them), a Ebony Mori was even more common.

They should have done it at the same time as keys though. Meanwhile keys stay the same 8 months later, and last patch they nerfed the one remaining counter to them so it doesn't counter them anymore. Somewhere in between that they added offerings that let you know exactly where the hatch will spawn.

Ultra rare hardly means that it is rare. They deserved the nerf they got because they could end games at the very start, unlike keys. Keys should also be nerfed but unfortunately BHVR hasn't brought it out yet.
It doesn't matter if they were "ultra rare", the fact that it took the fun out of games for a lot of people was enough for its nerf in the first place. That is like saying old insta heal syringes were balanced because they were also ultra rare.

I enjoyed breaking out the red moris when a team of P3 survivors showed up. But yeah, they should have been nerfed. Same with brand new parts. I'm almost surprised they let Huntress' one shot run roughshod for so long

50% is the normal rate with a single person it's 45% more with 3 people on a gen maybe even two.I just played a game that lasted 8 minutes. That's probably 45 seconds of chase much longer because, I never could get my full power and I, only got three hooks
So yeah I'm comparing the percentages of that.4 minutes total is the actual outcome if you cut the chases.

Yep, just looked it up. Have to hook a surv 2x now. I didn't even notice the change. So basically if a killer has a mori just let the survivor struggle then they cant be moried

Moris are fine now. Its a free third hook without having to worry about ds or flashlights, etc.
Now they need to just nerf keys so that they only work if one person is left in the trial.

OLD BNPs which completed a full Gen - those were compareable to Moris. Should show you how long it took the Devs to nerf them.

And yet before their change they were played all the time (killers that dump all their points into killers will have a lot of them) so they weren't that uncommon because of their rarity. The worst part though was working on a gen then looking up and seeing half your team dead already from the mori. I can't tell you how many matches this happened to me where the match felt like it just started and then suddenly everyone is dead from the red mori. They were too much. Their change was needed. They were basically another power for any killer to help end the match a lot sooner before the change. No offering should give them that much of an advantage.

You know how Moris require you to hook a survivor twice, then down them again?
Yeah, it didn't have the 'survivor must be on death hook' requirement.
I think it initially didn't require -any- hooks. You could just instakill your first down. It was nerfed once to require one hook, then nerfed again to require two.
It used to be free instawin, then it became a really ungodly powerful perk, now it is almost entirely cosmetic.
