Flashbang is a problem for wraith.
Flashbangs work exactly the same as firecrackers, so if you get stunned by one when cloaked, you lightburn.
The problem is that in a match, 8/9/10 or even more of them can be created, because there's no cap limit.
As Wraith, this is a massive problem: if you saw Oracle vs truetalent match you know what I'm talking about.
One flashbang, if used correctly, is troublesome, because you don't hear it super clearly even, and when dropped it has a very big radius.
If you're unlocking right on the back of a survivor, and he drops it, you'll lightburn, 100%
I think the devs should fix this problem, because when bully squads will all use it, it's gonna be immensely frustrating

Blast mine as well. It is Brutal for poor wraith.

I would have agreed that this was overly oppressive a few months ago, but Wraith is in such a good spot right now that I can't bring myself to complain about this. There aren't a lot of defenses to a Wraith uncloaking on top of you, especially when one of the things that makes Wraith oppressive is his ability to zoom straight back to you after you stun him or lose him. I'm pretty okay with it. Flashbangs do produce a distinctive sound cue, and the Wraith can avoid it by ending the uncloak and stepping back instead of continuing to advance on the survivor.

Oh definitely it will be a problem. Am I worried about it? Not really.

If you notice someone having a flashbang and even more, drop it, stop the uncloak and move away.
You can even bait the drop by faking the uncloak and moving out of the way.
And while theres no cap, creating such a large amount if anything means the gens arent being repaired, you need 50% minimum to get one, if the survivors are creating that many, it simply means they arent finishing the gens.

Yeah let's nerf situational perks because why not

Noted.
With Flashbang, Blast Mine, Sprint Burst, and Diversion, I now have a Ghostbuster build I can try out (I know Wraith isn't a ghost but the name is close enough...right?)

I think it should only blind having it lightburn pretty much makes him obsolete atm luckily they cant know who they are facing ahead of time. so at least its not always a guarantee.

He's a stealth killer, the idea is to ambush survivors before they know you're there so they can't stun you with pallets or lightburns.
If you're actively chasing someone with a flashlight/flashbang while cloaked, you need to be ready to dodge it. You move at 150%, if you know it's comming, it shouldn't be a problem.
And besides, if you actually met any competetive 4 man SWF team, you'll lose vs them even if they're perkless and itemless so I wouldn't worry about that as problem there is far more complex. Vs your average solo team, those items don't mean much if you play wraith well.

How many times do you face 4 survivors with that one perk at the same time? Not much. It is new so people run it. It will most likely be off most builds in a month. Just like with Power Struggle. I remember people was really upset with it and calling it too powerful. Now I can’t remember the last time I saw someone use it.
Also, if they are equipping Flashbang that’s one less perk slot for DS, UB, BT, DH, IW. Perks killers hate.
My point is it is nothing to cry about. In most matches one survivor might be able to build 2 and use 1 effectively.

I don't think I've seen more than 3 or 4 used in a single match so far. They are very conditional. Gen pressure prevents them from even being made. They have to be used at the right time or they don't even work. I feel like there are killer players right now that may have 1 match where the flashbangs are used effectively against them and then feel like its this huge problem that needs to be nerfed. No, it isn't. Survivors need good perks and we got those with Jill and Leon. They add a new level of interaction in the game than just making the usual things work differently. Just be aware they are part of the game now instead of calling for a perk nerf a week after they've been live.

I'm not sure what there is to complain about to be honest. Wraiths power is meant to negate a survivors ability to hold W against him in the first place, so IF you get lightburned by a firecracker or flashbang his power is literally the counter to their counter.
This is before you consider the fact that the stun/blind of both flashbangs and firecrackers are just... silly. I can't tell you how many people have tried to flashbang save against me and just end up giving me tinnitus. So far I think the only successful use of it against me was when 2 survivors were pressuring a gen at the base of a hill hook and even then I traded the Leon that dropped it for the Jill on my shoulder.
Also the match you are talking about just clearly displays how low of a tier the Wraith actually is. The team was upset that True had gotten A SINGLE KILL as wraith. It also displays how survivor sided the game really is when 4 competent survivors play together, and the reason its so in favor of survivor is because most of them are potatoes that add up to roughly one decent opponent on average.
If you watched Dowsey's commentary of the match, he even makes a point at the end that Oracle was playing by tournament rules. That means things like all unique survivor models, and maximum 2 count for a perk on the whole team, even though Oracle only ran 2 BT, leaving a total of 15 unique perks used. So they, the survivors, weren't even in their 'most powerful form' so to speak.

Lightburn should just be removed.
It's a stupid mechanic from back when items were supposed to counter powers.
Flashbang is fine. Lightburn is the problem.

Flashbang is fine. Wraith is extremely oppressive to unhooks. Maybe few years back he wasn't so strong but the devs have almost buffed him too much. almost... it's still mostly due to his mega add-ons.

You always have to use two perks. But still I think they are a problem, more tests must be done

When more tests will be done, we'll see. Btw "it means that the gens aren't being done". Yes, for 3 less seconds. Lockers are all around the map, so it's not difficult to jump in quickly and craft one.
He's not in such a good spot: medkits, flashlights, flashbangs, pallets dropped instantly and playing with no add-ons (problem because without them oof) will hurt his map pressure.
This is just straight up wrong, you're not supposed to play just stealth. With 4 medkits hit and run does NOT work, and you can't play only stealth. At some point you'll have to do somewhat of a chase.

I mean are people really bringing flashbangs that much? I ran it for a bit and used it effectively against wraith but it's not like you know you'll be going against him. My mate runs it but it's a bit of a joke perk. You can make multiple of them during a game but doing that is wasting some serious time and if the killer has Ruin it's basically not an option.
Wraith having a nice counter that cancels out him zooming around is nice. Incredibly frustrating killer to play against.
