Blood on Outfit while Injured. Will it ever return?
I forget the actual name they gave it but on one of the past PTBs (I believe it was sometime after the Stranger Things PTB), if you were injured, blood would start to appear on your outfit, even if it wasn't a prestige cosmetic. I thought it looked cool because where the blood formed was unique for each outfit. I know most people probably forgot about it but I hope that it comes back one day.

I guess the fact that Prestige exists was the reason it didnt got added.

Maybe, but I think it would be even better if they brought it back now since we have Legendary skins. I know some people wished that legendary skins would have their own prestige rewards and bringing back this mechanic will let them have it.

With the new blue contamination effects that appear on characters after getting infected, it doesn't seem hard to implement. Plus it sounds cool.

I'd rather just have them allow the prestige to be put on any cosmetics, including sets and legendaries. If I remember correctly the blood when injured didn't make it past the ptb because it was disliked.

idk guys, that seems like it would take work and worse it wont give the company an immediate monetary return sooooo they would love to do it but ya know.....no.

Really? I didn't know people disliked it so much, I thought it was awesome. I still think it would be cool to have have bloody Chris Redfield...maybe one day...

I disagree, I think it would make more people purchase outfits and even legendary skins since they could "prestige" those outfits.

Plus it would make the game a little more immersive since you will actually see the blood spreading while injured. Like you said, it may be little and insignificant but it's the small things that count!

Considering Contamination does the same but blue I don't see a reason as to why it couldn't be implemented.

It was a little bit different since I think it slowly spread throughout the outfit unlike how contamination just all appears at once but I totally agree.

That's even cooler. My comment was based on a comment from the devs that said they couldn't because of technical reasons (I don't remember when, but a lot of time ago).

To me, it seemed helpful as killer because if all 4 survivors decided to be the same character with the same outfit, you can tell who's who (or at least who you havent chased yet) because of the blood that is or is not covering them.

They are testing the system right now with Nemesis. You notice how you turn blue when contaminated?
