Every killer is fun to verse, period.
Yes we all have favourites and some we dislike more. For example I hate trapper the most but every killer is fun to verse as long as its not the same one over and over. Stop using the "not fun" because you struggle or dont like the killer. They all have different counters and play styles, maybe you're too focused on a 1v1 and Escaping than actually having fun

Yeah there's some killers that I'm more cautious about than others but it's not like I see a Leatherface or a Nurse and am like "oh my gosh, I need to DC instantly". They're all at least fun to face.

I will agree with this when we have mmr implemented so solo players have a fighting chance against some killers.

You're allowed to not have fun against the way certain killers are built. I would be really hard-pressed to call the reverse bear trap anything but out of place and inconvenient. But the trials can still be fun regardless. Why play the game at all if you're not having at least a little fun.

Easy win=fun. Losing=not fun.
That is how people see it and most complaints are based on that.

Understanding a specific killer's counterplay does not necessarily mean employing that counterplay is an enjoyable experience.

Not really,no.
Playing against a new Nurse players is usually a free win,does it mean that those matches are fun?
No,it's boring.
What most people like is a back and forth with the killer,which is why people often times enjoy playing against killers like Oni,Demo,Billy etc. and hate playing against killers like Freddy,Clown,Trapper etc

Some of the weaker Killers are also not fun to go against, like Clown or Trapper.

I wish that is true but I see a lot of people enjoying when they completely stomp the other side and rub it in. And I also see people blowing things out of proportions when they lose. Both sides.
How many people complain about these killers as unfun tho? That is why I said "mostly".

What does that have to do with anything? The complaints around spirit are due to her complete lack of feedback about what she's doing.

I see a lot of people complaining about not having fun against more viable killers. And I don't see a lot of people complaining about killers that are easily stomped. Not even close.

It is subjective. I don't think people are lying. Certain killers are probably unfun to deal with. I wouldn't know, really, as I only got tricked into playing it for a daily that lied and said I needed to be chased for 2 seconds. Pretty sure it meant minutes.

an important discussion point is player vs killer.
often its the players that are the problem, not the killers, but certain killers allow for certain behavior better then others sooo its also a bit on the killer design.

I mean, fun is highly subjective.
Like, I dont like to step into a Trap during a Chase, just because I did not know it was there. But this does not make Trapper a strong Killer.
And for Clown, I highly dislike to not be able to see through his Gas. And again, Clown is one of the weaker Killers.

I am just saying what I observed majority does. Just google spirit is unfun for example and you'll see what I am talking about. And lets be real ask anyone who dislike her is she fun or unfun. Or put any weaker killer in a poll asking who is less fun, them or spirit.
Suddenly it is not that subjective since everyone jumped on the spirit hate bandwagon. And the guy above is saying complaints are not about her being unfun when evidence suggests otherwise or just ask that guy himself is she fun or not and he will contradict himself.
That is just my opinion btw and what I think is happening.

No. There are killers I despise. I never have an enjoyable game against them.

Only because there is a Killer who is worse than others does not make those other Killers fun to verse. Like, if I get to choose to chop of my Finger or my Hand, I will choose the finger, this does not mean that I enjoy it if my finger is getting chopped off.
So only because Spirit exists and is more unfun than e.g. Trapper, this does not really make Trapper fun to verse.

I think that all Killers can be fun to face.
It realy depends on the player as fun is subjective. Also survivors need to adapt against Killers.
I saw the complain that most Killers now are "anti-looping". This is true but also not. They need to be looped in a different way.
I for an example like playing against Pyramide Head after his nerf. Right now you can do so much stuff around him to fool him, dodge him and abuse his cooldown after charging his attack. I also like to play against Nemesis who faces my braindead team and me with his own and so on.
Many people may disagree with this. But fun is subjective.
A Killers "fun level" is the same as wine: Yes there are some criteria by which you can tell if it is a good wine (depth of tast) but you may not enjoy what is considered a "great wine" or "wine of the year" because it does not fit your tast. A Killer can be perfectly fun by some objective messures (tell, counterplay and others) like Huntress and I still dislike playing against Huntress far more than I dislike Spirt. Its a tast.

This is going to sound crazy, but your opinion isn't absolute fact. I know, it's pretty far out there, but the thing is, different people have different feelings about what is and isn't fun. It's bonkers! But that's the wacky world we live in.

Sure fun is subjective but usually the hate goes towards killers that they dont do well against. When they explain why they're unfun its usually down to them not liking the power or no counter play which obviously isn't true in terms of counter play. But so far people have said all killers are unfun so... was is fun?

When it comes to making fun killers, bhvr is supposed to think of fun first, then balance
However bhvr is doing balance before fun, which resulted in every killer after legion and any reworks after that

Personally I find any killer that removes counterplay without adding anything new or new mechanics to be extremely boring and uninspired. Luckily those are in the minority for now.

I think there are 2 issues: 1) the absolute trash matchmaking 2) Killers that is OP af in the chase, making those encounters hopeless feeling.
I actually don't mind going against most killers my skill level, even nurse, but I despise Spirit and Wraith with the burning fury of 1000 suns. The reason I hate them, you can't see them, hear them, and they are insanely fast. The team can beat them sure, but, if I'm first dead, or hanging on the hook for 4 minutes of a 5 minute match, there is little fun had.

So what's fun then? Because the killers a player too and I think balance is an important part. And all killers are fun already, some are just harder than others and we have a good mixture of abilities out there already and sad part is most killers are pretty weak if there was a working rank system

Thing is, fun is just a subjective opinion. Some people don't have fun facing certain killers, and thats totally fine. But whejn you start asking for killer changes and killer nerfs because "iT Is uNfuN" then no you dont get to do that because fun is not an argument.

No some killers are pretty universally hated, and rightfully so. Such as the twins why?
Because no one likes to be left on the floor for 4 minutes doing nothing. Or even worse getting picked up only to get dropped 5 seconds later making it even longer.

No, not everyone has to like all killers and a lot of players find certain killers boring in this game. Instead of making up some weird excuses about that, maybe you can just accept that their power is just not very interesting for some people? Plus, your last sentence doesn't make any sense. 1v1 is the most fun part and escaping is related to the 1v4 aspect.
If this many people complain about a killer being unfun maybe it is actually something to be looked at, don't you think? Regardless if you like that killer or not.
