edited July 2021 in Feedback and Suggestions

Here are some perks that really need a buff and simple suggestions to fix them. (There's a lot of killer perks that need buffs too, but for right now, here's the survivor perks in serious need of help)

  • Smash Hit - Activates when you throw a pallet down
  • Power Struggle - Remove the wiggle progress requirement
  • Repressed Alliance - Remove the requirement to currently be working on the gen.
  • Self-Preservation - (I have no idea on this one).
  • Camaraderie - Remove the requirement for a survivor to be close and allow it to work on both hook states.
  • Off the Record - Add removes scratches and blood pools.
  • Any Means Necessary - Remove 4 second requirement.
  • Mettle of Man - Reduce to 2 protection hits.
  • Poised - Make it an activate ability.
  • Boil Over - Increase sideways strafe to 100%/125%/150% (Not sure if that will help this perk)

Sole Survivor and Distortion hopefully for the Mid-Chapter

Distortion could use a buff, especially since there are so many Killer aura seeing perks now.

    ... Are. Are you okay?

These are way over the top dude. Have you even used any of these perks?

Oof I'm not alone thinking it would be overpowered... Imagine, Dead Hard and that Power Struggle to make killers lose their minds. You just have to die under a pallet to be safe, free "DS" everywhere

To be fair I don't think I have ever seen anyone successfully use this perk since it was added in the game. How often are survivors carried through pallets anyway? The only time I see it really working is if a killer leaves a survivor on the ground at a pallet for a few seconds and they also have flip flop. But again, how often does that happen? Theres a reason why you hardly ever see certain perks used in this game.

Exactly. People are acting like Killers can only walk between pallets when carrying a survivor or survivors always go down right underneath a pallet. This just doesn't happen. Once the Killer knows you have it, they are going to avoid walking between pallets and they are going to avoid slugging. This buff won't even make it a meta perk.

Power Struggle doesn't need a buff, it's a pretty decent perk atm.

Off the Record can remove scratch marks to work as an anti-tunnel perk, I'd be down for that tbh.

Have you ever seen Power Struggle work before? I haven't.

Off the Record removing scratch marks would be nice, but it risks overlap with Babysitter, and I don't think 80 seconds of no scratch marks would be balanced either. Maybe with greatly reduced duration it could work. Or alternatively, giving it a once-per-unhook Quick and Quiet effect.

What might also be weirdly effective is having Off the Record remove the loud noise notification upon unhook. Probably not very effective, but who knows, it might bamboozle a killer or two.

We don't see Power Struggle work that much because people don't really use it.

I suppose it could use a buff to like 15%, but that's about as much as it can go.

Smash Hit — Dislike the idea, I'd prefer they reduce the speed boost duration to 3 seconds and have the speed boost effect after the animation. Then I'd like the perk to have tokens based on how many times you stunned the killer, up to 5 tokens. Each token increases the speed boost duration by 0.4 seconds. The perk description would say slightly increases the duration up to a maximum of 5 seconds. Would reward going for stuns.

Power Struggle — I'd would be fine with this if it doesn't work when the survivor is picked up at a pallet because that would be OP.

Repressed Alliance — Wouldn't mind, but the perk would still be poor.

Self-Preservation — Too easy, have it remove grunts of pain, breathing, scratch marks, and blood trails.

Camaraderie — That's nice, but then it would give a free 64 seconds on the hook. I personally don't care, but it's going to be annoying for killers. I was thinking it would be identical to Lucky Break to where it has a time bank that you use. Camaraderie would have 40/50/60 seconds in the bank, and after being on the hook for 15 seconds (giving time for the killer to go away), the perk would activate. Any survivors or killers within 16 meters to you will cause Camaraderie to pause the hook timer, using the time bank, for as long as there's time remaining. Would be really cool to be honest.

Off The Record — Totally, 100% support for this. Anti-tunnel perks should be OP or very strong.

Any Means Necessary — It would be annoying to stun the killer, reset the pallet, then stun them again before they can recover. I prefer just removing the cool-down entirely and attach a BP bonus to it as the variable for perk tiers.

Mettle of Man — I can live with this change, and remove the aura reading negative too.

Poised — Indifferent, active abilities are going to be problematic since having DH and poised conflict each other since both would use E.

Boil Over — I disagree, would be too annoying. I prefer removing hook auras entirely so that the killer would need to pay attention to surrounding hooks instead of relying on auras.
