These Trickster changes...

I like them. But I don't like the change to Death Throes Compilation.

In fact, I kind of want to see it changed again before the next PTB happens, since Main Event restoring knives should be a base kit thing rather than an add-on. If not base kit, then maybe a Rare or Very Rare add-on or something.

So if you're listening to feedback, please, please consider this instead of the current change:

  • The amount of Blade hits required to activate Main Event from 30 to 50.
  • When Main Event is fully charged, The Trickster's movement speed is increased to 4.6m/s.
  • Main Event can now be held indefinitely until activated.
  • Main Event duration is halved.

This would make it so that it provides a brand new playstyle for The Trickster, but doesn't exactly break him, much like what an Ultra Rare add-on is meant to do.

At least consider changing this up before the PTB and see how it goes with you guys. I don't think that the idea of Main Event just restoring knives via an add-on will make the add-on appealing, especially an Ultra Rare one.

Death Throes Compilation just isn't the place to give The Trickster the ability to reload on Main Event.

My only question is, why would you ever want to Main Event with your changes then?

We still don't know exactly how it is gonna look like in practice.

I like that devs adressed Trickster, he needed a buff... but they focused on the wrong things. Trickster is decent at downing survivors, the laceration decaying is his problem. Scott adressed it way better than I can: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AixNUYxSyKE

My fix to Trickster is very simple, doesn't make him op or annyoing in chases and gives him at least SOME map pressure:

Set laceration back to 8. Laceration does not decay on it's own, survivor can instead mend entire laceration (2 seconds base time + 1 second per knife on survivor), choosing to waste time but not be downable fast or just rushing a gen, but risking. It's not deep wound, survivor does not go down if they don't mend!

The main problem with his power is fact that he needs to tunnel or it's just wasted time putting knives in people. With my fix you can switch targets without feeling that you wasted time, very simple and will prevent situation when laceration decreases during loops (which current fix only makes even more annoying). Survivor can try mending during chase, but it's a risk.

Also the main event... it should just be able to being activated once the bar is filled and should stay this way, like Oni's power. It already has long animation to start, to end and you can't throw knives after it ends... Come on bhvr, Awesome that you adress weaker killers, but please listen to people who actually know how the game works, what makes killer strong, weak, fun and unfun to play as or against.

You don't. Remember this guy? Remember how he played in Smash 4 once he got Limit? That's how I envision Death Throes Compilation to be in essence. Unlimited speed-up at full charge but if you use it, you use it when necessary.
