Wouldn't show exact location, but would allow for easier following and grouping/tracking of your teammates during a trial.

Pretty much would only buff solos.

Wouldn't effect the actual gameplay balance, only the way a smart player would play.

Would show newer players where scratch marks are being left, in order for them to get used to not leaving them for the killer.

(Could be green or blue colour coded)

I think survivors should have something similar ro scratch marks but not quite the same. It makes sense for the killer to see them because hunting is their specialty. So give survivors some other clue as to whether or not another survivor is in the area.

Maybe some kind of audio cue or maybe like a blue or some other color variant of the scratchmarks that Survivors can see, perhaps? Or maybe handprints on the walls or generators that fade away in like 10-15 seconds if a Survivor had done something in that area that would be beneficial to know, like messing with a hook or working on a gen, somethin like that.

Scratch marks are altering of the entity's realm left by movement in the lore. It could make sense for survivors to see other's scratch marks. Fixated allows one to see their own because they're (and I'm just making lore reasons why) in tune with their own interaction with the entity. Being a survivor would allow you to tune in to the markings others make. When you negate your own marks its because you're taking care not to influence the trial around you. A killer sees all the markings because the entity lets them, and all killers are human so can sense them easier in the first place; even demo who, since he has no eyes yet can see, has some other mechanism for sensing the marks.

Thinking about it, scratch marks have no real in lore reasoning on what they are. For all we know they're the visual representation of sensing a trail. They're not literal scratch marks, they're more of a feeling (which the predator perk is meant to tune, meaning sensing the marks, or at least sensing them better, is teachable) that someone has passed through here. It could be possible to perhaps teach a survivor how to do so, though since any interaction between the teacher (killer) and the student (survivor) ends in bloodshed it wouldn't normally happen unless the entity let it.

Fixated could work mixing the two, giving knowledge on how to read scratch marks, but only your own since you are in tune with how you do so.

No, I'm not interesting at parties.
