[CONCEPT] Spirit balance patch

I want to first start off by mentioning that this new change to Stridor is not warranted at all. The whole point of Stridor being a "perk" was for it to counter Iron Will. It's already only used by a few Spirit players, now there is not much of a point in using it at all.


Spirit

New mechanic: Whenever The Spirit enters a phase walk she emits an audible scream that can be hear by anyone within 12m of her.

  • This gets rid of the completely unskilled standing still tech (You can actually already know when Spirit's phasing because of a bug, but it's not intended)
  • While making the chase more fun, it also keeps Spirit's grab potential when survivors are more then 12m away from her but still in terror radius.


Add-on updates:

Zori -

  • Slightly (+5%) increases Yamaoka's Haunting movement speed
  • Moderately (-1 second) deceases Yamaoka's Haunting duration

Muddy Sports Day Cap -

  • Moderately (+10%) increases Yamaoka's Haunting movement speed
  • Considerably (-1.5 seconds) decreases Yamaoka's Haunting duration

Dirty Uwabaki -

  • Considerably (+15%) increases Yamaoka's Haunting movement speed
  • Considerably (-1.5 seconds) decreases Yamaoka's Haunting duration

(Spirit's movement speed add-ons are without a doubt her most effective and currently there is absolutely no drawback to running them. I believe that this duration penalty is completely warranted and will make her movement speed add-ons more fair to go against.)


Yakuyoke Amulet

  • Tremendously (+2.5 seconds; down from 3.5 seconds) increases Yamaoka's Haunting duration
  • Considerably (-15%) decreases Yamaoka's Haunting movement speed

(Amulet was incredibly unfair to go against especially when paired with other add-ons. This nerf will make it just not an over-powered add-on as they really shouldn't change her kit that much to begin with.)


Mother-Daughter Ring

  • Tremendously (+30%; down from +40%) increases Yamaoka's Haunting movement speed
  • Gives The Spirit collision with survivors while Phase Walking
  • The Spirit is slowed to 3.68 m/s when canceling her Phase Walk and cannot attack for 1.5 seconds

(Mother-Daughter Ring is by far Spirit's strongest add-on and should not be kept in the game in it's current state. This change will allow for interesting body block plays and overall changes Spirit's playstyle as it should because it's an Ultra Rare add-on. This should make this add-on more interesting to go against and way less over-powered.)

    Also, maybe add her footsteps back I don't know why they were ever removed.

    The one problem I'll always have with Spirit, is that even if you know that shes phasing, she most likely still knows where you are, especially if you're not running IW. Due to this I never really like the suggestion of letting survivors know that you're phasing and I'd prefer a different approach that made it harder for Spirit know where survivors are.

    The add on suggestions I am a big fan of however.
