The effects of this perk don't change.

  • While healing a Survivor without the medkit, you gain 15/20/25% additional chance to trigger a skillcheck.
  • Each token gained decreases skillcheck trigger odds by 5%

No thanks on the decreasing skillcheck triggers. Anytime I use it I barely get skillchecks as it is. This would not be an improvement. The decreased odds would take precedence over the additional chance. Why? One example: It took them 2 years to change the stun check in their coding so you no longer get hit through pallets server side if there's a stun pending for the killer. Literally something we have been begging for since day 2 of dedicated servers. Took them 4 years to put a totem counter on Small Game, which was suggested an eon a go lol

That's not an improvement. That's actively worse than the current state of perk. Autodidact lets you heal at an insanely fast rate one you have all the tokens. Why would you want to take away the higher speed and reduce skillchecks which also get buffed by autodidact?

You need a skillcheck to get perk value once you've gained tokens. Your suggestion peaks at 3 tokens, where you gain progress and more chance of a skillcheck, it's neutral at 4 tokens compared to the current version, and it's a net nerf at 5 tokens.

I don't feel this would be an overall improvement.

The problem is that Autodidact is random. So, get rid of its random nature.

    Autodidact

When healing a Survivor without a med-kit, you receive a unique skill check every 3 seconds. Landing a healing skill check check earns you a token, up to a maximum of 5 tokens.

Each token grants an additional 3%/4%/5% healing progress on a successful skill check and reduces healing skill check success zones by 15%.

You lose all accumulated tokens when you miss a healing skill check.

Practically the same effect with a slight nerf to the numbers to balance out its consistency, as well as increased difficulty for a bit of a challenge, but nothing too crazy.

I don think you understand me, you gain more chance at first and each token decreases the chance to its first value.

The 10/15/20% depends on the tier of this perk so that you also return to normal chance value once you gain max tokens.

Idk why you say it makes perks worse.
