QoL change for Obsession builds: hook state for the Obsession is shown to the killer
Obsession builds rely on keeping the Obsession alive, for obvious reasons, but with perks that can change who the Obsession is, it's very difficult to keep track of how many times each survivor has been hooked.
Keeping in line with the Obsession mechanic (that the killer is obsessed with a single survivor), I think the killer should be able to see how many times the Obsession has been hooked. If a survivor stops being the Obsession, then the information pertaining to that survivor is no longer displayed on the killer's HUD (unless they become the Obsession again).
This would serve as a simple QoL change for Obsession builds and shouldn't affect normal gameplay in any way.

While I do agree with you and you have sound reasoning I feel it would be better to just give killer the ability to see all hooks. I get the argument of "would encourage tunneling" but killers are going to tunnel someone regardless and if they plan to make sure someone dies they're going to do it without the need to remember the hook status.
Granted regardless your suggestion is the next best option so I support it.

The devs don't want to give killers the hook status of every survivor, and this is really just for Obsession builds.

Yep - I know - Still don't agree with BHVR but as I mentioned your suggestion is the next best option. It also makes sense but admittedly I would be surprised if BHVR went through with it because enabling that would be enabling people to pressure them to just enable it for all survivors.

That'd just make BBQ overpowered and destroy stealth play. Someone needs to work on gens while you're looping, after all.

This would be a nice change. Nemesis is sometimes pretty confusing and don't get me started on survivor obsession perks. I'd love this change
