Should Furtive Chase stay the tokens when killing the obsession?
Really if I remember correctly, this is the only perk that takes away the tokens when killing an obsession compared to Save The Best For Last that if it leaves you the tokens that you have when killing the obsession. Should Furtive Chase receive the same? I know that with Monitor & Abuse it is to be a stealthy killer.
With a killer of 32 meters + Monitor & Abuse and Furtive Chase with 4 tokens it is to have 8 meters of terror radius, with 24 it would be 0 meters, completely Undetectable and Insidious.
Should Furtive Chase keep the tokens he has when killing the obsession? be it 2 or 3 tokens, but currently if one accidentally kills the obsession it restarts completely and having a normal radius terror. What do you think? if you have never tried this combination of Monitor & Abuse and Furtive Chase in Deathslinger for example.

Dying Light deactivates when the obsession dies, but it at least doesn't lose the tokens so if you get a new obsession in the trial the perk will reactivate with the number of tokens you previously had. But I really see no point to Furtive Chase losing tokens or even deactivating if the obsession dies. It's simply not that strong of a perk and the main reason to use it is for obsession switching.
Also, M&A and Furtive Chase do different things. M&A lowers your TR outside of chase and increases it in chase. Furtive Chase only lowers your TR in chase. If you stack them, then a 4 stack Furtive Chase means that in and out of chase your TR is 8m smaller.

The thing is you can't combine it with monitor because furtive chase only works when you are in a chase. So really only Myers in T2 can really take an advantage of this

Furtive chase only lowers your TR when in chase, so using that WITH monitor would be kinda meh. Monitor increases your TR when in a chase, so...using your example... Monitor would increase DS's TR to 32 meters while in chase, and then 4 stacks of furtive chase would drop it back down to 16 meters. Really, the perk in generally is only useful for swapping the obsession around and for swapping targets mid chase to someone nearby who might not know you're there. Allowing the stacks to remain REALLY wouldnt be OP in the lease, especially since you no longer have to keep BT in mind for any TR related perks anymore.

I remember the time Otz posted a video about him avoiding a BT back when BT was based on TR as a T2 Myers with Furtive Chase. Probably the only time anyone has ever gotten real value from the lower TR in chase.

I tried it out on old Freddy back in the day. Paintbrush on old Freddy would lower your TR, and since he could see the auras of all sleeping survivors outside his TR... gave me wallhacks on alot of junglegyms once you get those stacks. Thats one of the few cases where smaller TR actually mattered beyond the initial approach, and they reworked Freddy soon after anyway.

i dont think it should lose the tokens, especially since the perk is only active WHILE BEING IN A CHASE, a case where it is mostly useless to have a small terror radius.

It should retain its tokens. The perk it's trash and doesn't need this drawback. Especially, when something that stbfl, which is manifold stronger, can just keep its stacks just because.

Furtive Chase is a backwards perk. If it decreased your TR outside of chase than I would be okay with losing all tokens when obsession is killed

I'm sorry, I have trouble seeing colors, but your pfp seems strangely different

Oh. Wait.. that's from the Trusted system, right? Normally I see the word "Trusted" to some people, but I don't see it on your end

Furtive chase is a really dumb perk tbh even if it kept tokens it still isnt good

Furtitive chase is probably one of the worst killer perks in the entire game. that perk will never be good, I could never see myself running this perk in a million years.
