Visual bug of the killer rank.
The red circle indicates the wrong killer rank, while the green circles, indicate the right killer rank.
Back at the hall, the bug was still visible, basically, the assassin rank showed me that I was assassin rank 16, but in reality, I was precisely, assassin rank 17.

It happened to me again after patch 5.0.2, after playing the map "Mother's House (Red Forest)". These are the pictures:
(You keep in mind that I am rank 16) In the first image everything is ok, in fact, both ranks correspond, however, the problem arises in the second image, in the points classification, where it shows me that I am rank 15, instead I am rank 16. The problem solves itself by returning to the main menu, where at the top right, it shows the true current rank and not a higher rank. If that helps, I needed 1 pip to get to rank 15. I don't know if it can happen to survivors too, because I always play as a killer.

Again... The bug always occurs when a pip is missing for the next rank. The bug occurred after playing in "(Coldwind Farm) Damaged Stable".

It's in the game since 2016 as I remember. Just deal with it. Nobody even cares about this because it's not game breaking bug.

You're right, in the end, it's not a bug that corrupts the game. I had started this report to improve the game even more, but it is a pity that nobody cares... I would like the DbD staff to take care of these small bugs too, so the game would improve even in these small details...
