What are your thoughts on blood pact?

Is the perk fine? Should it be reworked? Buffed perhaps?

    It's another SWF perk.

needs a buff so that it works when you're the obsession, pick someone random to share auras with maybe? otherwise it's kinda just a worse empathy, and the speed boost is situational

Its fine, as in its an ok perk. The main takeaway is the aura reading so you know whose getting chased and where or if you need to find someone to heal you. Shows you where not to run the killer if you see someone on a gen and gives them a heads up if you have no choice but to go that way. It also shares the info with a teammate, so they can also use it for the same things.

There's better alternatives, but its fine in my opinion. Could stand to do something rather than deactivate if you're the obsession however. Another effect of some kind just in general is also not out of the question.

Just gotta be careful with speed boost, especially one that has unlimited time if you so choose, so I don't think that should be increased.

I run it commonly if I'm playing solo. Its good, but not great. Has room for improvement but doesn't need it.

TBH, it's too weak, speed boost is honestly not amazing and being the obsession makes it worthless.

Add a new mechanic to pick a random Survivor if you're the obsession and share auras with them. I'd also love additional healing speed in addition to the speed boost, because the speed boost never does anything. At all.

Wish they removed the obession thing so you can combo it with for the people

I think it’s decent. You’re always guaranteed to know where you can get help (or know if that person needs help), until one of you is either dead, or an Obsession switch occurs on you.

Yeah, only SWF can optimally use this perk. Which is sad and why you almost never see it.

It’s got way too many numbers to be considered an easy perk to understand.

Generally it's better to split up as Survivor, so having to stick together seems sub-optimal. I can see it working in SWF with Prove Thyself, but I'd never run it myself. Could use a buff to be better in solo queue.

Genuinely forgot it even existed until I saw this post, lol. I think I used to use it as a means to create an obsession without having to use DS. Obviously there's no need for such a thing nowadays. If I want aura reading that works regardless of distance then I'd just run Aftercare instead. The second effect just seems too gimmicky for solo que

I wish it made healing and being healed by the Obsession a little bit faster OR did something when you are the Obsession.

Perhaps reveal your aura to all of your teammates. I mean, if you're the obsession they'll all know when you're being chased anyhow due to the Obsession tentacles framing your characters picture in the hud.

Idk, I just wish it wasn't useless when you are the obsession. Major turn off for the perk. Furtive Chase has a similar issue where if the Obsession dies the perk dies with it and you lose all the stacks like what? Who came up with this

I haven't used it so all I'll say is merely based on the information available but it feels like a worse version of Empathy as far as information gathering is considered. It's rare you'll stay close to your teammate long enough for the haste effect to be valuable either.

All it does is that the Obsession likely will know the location of one of their teammates more of less often. But I still feel that perks like Kindred, Empathy and Aftercare would be better on knowing the location of teammates and sharing that information. Plus, the fact that it's a dead perk slot if you're the Obsession doesn't help.

What's your proposed buff? It's incredibly strong on swf with prove thyself especially vs the 110% killers, I do agree that in solo play it's almost impossible to make use of the speed buff though. I don't think permanent move speed buffs should even be a thing honestly, it's way too strong to allow it to be easy to use so you end up with weird requirements like this that effectively make it a trash perk solo.

Underated in my opinion but not meta or anything.

Should give a 7% haste effect after completing a heal on the obsession or the obsession completing a heal on you for 35/40/45 seconds.

Aura reading is permanent, not tied to an injured prerequisite.
