Decisive Nerf, but no penalty or counter play for killers face camping/tunneling. Free Griefing.
Just as the title says. What is this game design? Killers can completely, freely grief survivors, and still do well.
Decisive is the only perk that specifically counters tunneling, and its nerfed so hard is basically useless. There is no perk to countering a killer face camping.
Now I get to sit in red ranks, get face camped and tunneled, with literally no counter play. Then see the killer still get 20k plus blood points from the game. Two games in a row, I get first hooked, and 1st killer literally face camped me, while he had NOED and Undying. 2nd game, killer proxy camped me, and then tunneled for whole game, until all gens were done. Whats my counter play? Nothing, just get griefed, have an awful experience, and then go to the next game. (As a bonus I also get to de pip, thank you BHVR)
Meanwhile killer is LMAOing whole game while griefing survivor.
Why would I want to continue playing the game, when the game is so awful at red ranks especially for solo players. Survivors have no counter play, just forced to get griefed by the killer because BHVR gives negligent penalties, and no perks to counter face camping or tunneling. Only perk we had was nerfed to the ground. The game was fine, and fun at yellow and green ranks. Red ranks are filled with toxic team mates who sandbag you, and killers who camp and grief. And we have to wait years for any significant changes.

These things aren't related, and ds was only nerfed in a non tunneling capacity, if you are getting tunneled its just as strong, there is counterplay there just isn't any guarantee safety option which many people call "counterplay" and that is exactly how the devs intended it to be, there should never be the opportunity to be perfectly safe

Ah yes, the usual Survivor complaint 'The Killer is using tactics I don't like, therefor he MUST be doing it to anger me! DEVS! Fix this "griefing"!'

There is no perk that makes you perfectly safe. Just need a perk that can counter face camping, or penalties for killers going out of their way to grief players.

Sounds like the killer was already countered? In both your examples your team got all the gens done while you were the only one tunneled.
Its unpleasant for the one being tunneled, but balance wise the killer was penalized for their performance.

Dead hard, sprint burst, borrowed time. DS, are just the perks offhand that I know that can alleviate this issue.

But what is the 'griefing'? The Survivor-invented honor system of 'Don't camp/tunnel/slug'?
They don't need to punish a playstyle just because some Survivors insist Killers do it to anger them & want to ignore any times when camping/tunneling/slugging is needed for the Killer to apply pressure.
Survivors need to stop assuming anything that makes them lose is 'toxic'; they'll enjoy the game more.

That is the point.
Perks should not make you perfectly safe, because perks like that tends to get abused. Hence why release MoM was quickly nerfed and DS was changed to prevent survivors from remaining safe while forwarding the game state.
Camaraderie exists as a perk that pauses the hook timer for a short time. A perk that certainly helps when a survivor is on a hook and a killer is preventing an immediately unhook.

I'm sorry, but you did not just bring up Camaraderie.

Problem with Camaraderie is that, like old Kindred, you need to be the one on hook. They need to change it so it works both ways, if you're on hook, or if you go within 16 meters of someone on hook. Then it would become a more useful perk.

I think you underestimate how powerful survivors can be.
