Noed idea
i think noed should be a versatile hex perk. remove the exposed effect, and change the speed from 4% to 5%. have a bunch of bonuses all-in-one. moderately slower healing, vaulting, sabo, unhooking, searching chests, and powering gates. maybe all survs get the blindness effect. maybe this particular hex totem takes 20% longer to cleanse. maybe when it is cleansed, all the effects are gone, but it acts as hex haunted grounds for a short time. noed to me just feels unrewarding and annoying asf.

No. NoED is fine. The point of NoED is to be an unknown threat that pushes Survivors to stop doing gens. It was a bandaid fix to the 'genrush'.
If you change it, you remove that threat, and Survivors will just sit on gens, then leave. It, literally, has to stay what it is to make Survivors feel threatened enough to hunt for totems. And even then; many Survivors would rather do every gen ASAP, get hit with NoED, and then whine.

with solo que and survs not doing gens to begin with, i wish i could agree.

You are really just completely butthurt over virtually everyone not liking your idea that you've made 2 threads about, huh?

We want totems cleansed, but we don't think Survivors should get some sort of spectator that can literally point out where they are.
The time spent trying to find them is what works in the Killer's favor. How do you not understand that? If Survivors just instantly knew where they were, then Killers lose that bonus and the totems get cleansed that much faster.
Ain't hard to understand.

NOED, in its current form, does -not- encourage survivors to do totems. Paradoxically, doing totems benefits NOED more often than it hurts it.

You keep saying 'NoED does not encourage doing totems because Survivors don't want to/might not find them all'. People will invent any reason to try changing or nerfing NoED.

No, it's not because survivors 'don't want to', it's because cleansing totems just doesn't work as a practical strategy against NOED due to the way it is designed. In the vast majority of cases, trying to cleanse totems as a counter to NOED is just going to disadvantage your team more than just leaving them up.
NOED just doesn't work as an incentive to do totems.

or... you could just use the tools survivors have to disable the perk before it even activates.
