It's kind of bonkers how long it takes to get to tier 3 with Nemesis

One kill and 7 hooks later, I was finally able to land enough hits to get to tier 3. I'm no rank one killer by any means, but it takes too long to get to tier 3. And what makes it even more frustrating, is that the tentacle isn't overpowered by any means. If anything it's a detriment considering that survivors get a speed boost from infection which causes no damage.

The only fun to be had was knowing that I was playing as Nemesis, but as a dead by daylight killer he's rather weak.

T3 is nice, but Nemesis plays just fine with T2. The extra meter will give you some hits you wouldn't have otherwise gotten, but the real power boost comes from getting a free pallet break on every tentacle over a vault or pallet drop that misses its target.

Marvin's is good for getting T3 quicker. Or you could stack the zombie ones and hit whatever non-useful zombies you find (I think that's Tyrant Gore and Zombie Heart), but that's pretty inefficient.

This why I always bring T-Virus Sample (more mutation from hitting zombies, green add-on) and Marvin's Blood (more mutation from hitting Survivors, yellow add-on). I've gotten to tier 3 very quickly with this before and it is great. The Survivors have to deal with a full power Nemesis from the very beginning of the game.

That's pretty much what I've been doing. Bringing the add-ons that increase infection rate is the only thing that makes tier 3 viable, otherwise I don't bother. But as it is, it takes too long to get the tier 3 without add-ons. I definitely foresee a rework in the future, hopefully one that removes the speed boost upon infection.

the 8 free health stats make him trash tier imo.

He really just needs a better Tier 3 for how hard it is to actually get.

1 extra meter for how long it takes to get is kinda pathetic.

Maybe changing it to tier 3 injures regardless of being infected or not.

    or

Change it so it can hit a survivor and break a pallet at the same time.

It takes 2 tentacle strikes on survivors healthy survivors to get to tier 2, and then he has the strongest part of his power. Can hit survivors when they are animation locked, and can break pallets faster when zoning survivors around loops.

Run Corrupt Intervention and/or Lethal Pursuer. Go for the nearest Survivor and tentacle strike them, switch and tentacle strike another survivor. You will be tier 2 very early in the game. Don't even worry about tier 3, tier 2 is what you want to be worried about.

When you want Tier 3 to...

    But instead...

Yeah that's kind of what it's like when you hit a survivor who isn't infected! LOL

Basically this. With the Mutation Rate-Add Ons it is not really hard or does much time to get to Tier 3 (always under the premise that you are actually able to hit with the Tentacle).

And IMO this needs change, his base Mutation Rate should be buffed a little bit and the Add Ons should be nerfed. I brought him from P0-1 to P3-50 all Perks using Mutation Add Ons and honestly, I dont know why I should use any other Add Ons on him. And this is wrong.

T2 is were the real money is. Don't go out of your way to T3. Use m1 when necessary.

Yeah and that's what was crazy about the whole thing, the fact that m1 was considerably more effective than the tentacle! The tentacle hit detection is very spotty, so unless survivors were at a pallet or a window, I didn't bother.
