Iron Will need nerf!!!
It's the strongest perk in the game right now and has no counterplay.Use it and ez escape.does not need skill.
Why isn't there a rework on an issue that 99% of players complain about?This perk should either be removed or needs a huge change

I have never seen people calling Iron Will overpowered, if anything all i see about iron will is that it is balanced

I agree, Iron Will definitely does too much. At least make it so the survivors, you know, don't forget how to breath when they're running it.

Honestly Iron Will isn't that big of a deal and isn't a game changing perk that really forces the killer to change tactics. I mean sure you can probably escape a little easier if you break line of sight and so on but it's not a perk that makes the killer think about their action like Dead Hard or DS does. On the few times i play killer and came across someone using Iron Will, i easily find them again later and deal with them when the time comes. Because usually if you lose line of sight and the chase is long gone and you spot other survivors then go after them and deal with the one you lost later. It's not a broken perk and can be countered if the killer is more aware, if you deal with a killer with tunnel vision and relies on audible sounds to track their targets then obviously your gonna have an easier time hiding. But most of the time a killer would remain vigilant about their surroundings and expect the unexpected.

Have 1 token, anytime you taking hit from Healthy to injured will active the perk for 40-50-60sec, causing no noise, consume 1 token. After the timer done or get into healthy/dying, the perk deactivated
Each time you get a hook, you gain back 1 token.
The perk isnt mean to escape from mid chase. But if you slap in Spinechill + Urban, you can do Gen without scared.

Normally I wouldn't agree to change this perk because stridor exists. But now that it's no longer affected by it's yes.
either stridor need a complete rework or it needs to be reverted. Or even simpler spirit isn't affected by any sound based perks

It got buffed this patch with it being uneffected by stridor or any other pain noise increasing effects.
So it makes sense that people would talk about a strong perk that just got buffed and removed its only counters in the game.

This stridor nerf was just stupid. There was no reason to nerf this perk.
Also I noticed threads on iron will being overpowered even a little before stridor was nerfed. So what caused that?

It is a strong perk so people do complain about it from time to time.
However most of the time the "Iron will" thread tend to be talking about bugs that cause the effect and not the perk itself.

I hope they just fix the bug and not make any significant changes to it now that there have been a noticeable Increase in complaints about it. It's a strong perk that I think its fair.

I'm fairly certain this is a bug right now and BHVR needs to address it.
When and if Iron Will only silences grunts of pain while injured it should be balanced. People clamoring to have it on a timer like Lucky Break then deactivate for the rest of the match are asking for overkill.
As a side note, silencing or just reducing sound of footsteps would be an amazing addition to Lightweight if they ever wanted to make that perk much much better.

Iron Will doesn't prevent scratches or bleeding and it doesn't protect the player from exposing themselves later down the line.

People say Spirit is OP because she gives no info, but also say Iron Will is fine because it gives no info.

audio isn't the only source of tracking. iron will + lucky break is def op but you can track survivors running just iron will. spirit has nothing.

Personally I think they just need to fix sounds. As a dedicated Spirit main I'm not surprised sounds are broken as usual.
Though I am questioning what is the purpose of Stridor now? The perk was designed to counter IW but they made Yang stronger than Yin.

Spirit mains say Iron Will is OP because it gives no info, but then they say Spirit is fine because "just learn to counterplay 4Header"

It was broken since zero multiplied by any number should remain zero, and now they finally fixed it. IW is easily countered by using your eyes, by looking for scratchmarks and blood, by predicting. It's easier to counter play than the Spirit, which you can only "predict" (ie. flip a coin) and nothing else.

Here we go again with the “X got nerfed so Y must get nerfed too”. It’s funny how Iron will wasn’t complained about until an F-tier killer perk got nerfed.
As a killer you aren’t only playing by your ears, you have other ways of tracking survivors:
1) Your eyes
2) Blood
3) Scratch marks

It's a functional survivor perk, so yeah, people will complain. But these complaints are really just going down the list of perks and tackling every survivor perk that gets any value at all.

Iron Will wouldn't be so bad if not for instances where footsteps are silent. Sound tracking is still very important.

Can you not copy my sentence, swapping out a few words here and there?
I'm not a Spirit main, but she has counterplay for sure. I'm able to mindgame her just about every time I face her as survivor. If I can learn how to do it, so can everyone else.

Survivors are not allowed to have perks that are actually useful. Got it, only killers have this right.
