Trickster changes
New Trickster's changes feel like nerf to this character. He is still one of the worst killers in the game. When they decided to even nerf the amount of blades he has! On PBE he was like B-tier killer.
Nerfing weak killer is not so good idea. He is so fun to play and has potential.
I am pretty sure that he was slightly better before changes.

The problem was he was miserable to play against on ptb and was essentially a less punished huntress

He's still neutral to me strength wise. I had to adjust my gameplay a little to get used to the new changes but overall still very fun to play and I'll continue to play only him. They made his strengths and weaknesses more extreme which makes it harder to have a well balanced game where everyone has fun with him but it's hard to please both sides with any changes. I think he felt smoother prior to the changes but with a couple add on combinations he can feel relatively the same.

This is the best case scenario: he is the same. If that’s true, it means that BHVR completely and totally failed. He was supposed to be buffed, not nerfed or kept the same.

I feel like this was a buff went from 18 to 12 knives and they adjusted his total accordingly the only thing I dont like was the reduced max rof

He kinda seems reliant on Iron Maiden because of his low amount of blades. IM seems to make him a lot more enjoyable but I still prefer the previous Trickster.

No, your point stinks. He is nowhere near as strong as Huntress for the simple fact that he has to hit 6 times to her 1 for a health state. With the ammo nerf, i’d argue he is even more punishing because he has to reload just as she does, but without the reward.

I think he currently has 44 knives, which means he basically has 7 hatchets. On top of which, he has the Show Stopper ability. He's like an easier to use Huntress.

You aren't getting 7 hatchets worth of damage with 44 knives. Trickster is simply not designed around landing every single knife. The best I've ever done was use 16 knives for a down (meaning I only missed 4 knives in total) and that was from a survivor simply misplaying horribly at a window vault on a long wall.
But even besides missing, if a survivor does break LoS long enough it practically resets laceration meaning you'll have to throw more knives again so sometimes the 6 knives to injure becomes closer to 10 due to decay.

It’s harder than hitting hatchets in my opinion. For one, there is the awful recoil and for another, they have tiny hitboxes. I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again: you only need to hit two hatchets with huntress as opposed to 12 of his tiny knives. As someone who plays a lot of killer, the idea that Trickster is easier does not ring true. He feels harder than her with less reward. And then there is Deathslinger who is easier than both and is able to hit tiny spaces that Hunteess can’t hit.

I honestly always thought Deathslinger was better than Huntress but boy did people come out of the woodwork to say he wasn't.

Trickster straight up feels unplayable without bloody boa and trick pouch

I think it is better too, no broken hitboxes and he is way less predictable because of quick shots, also he doesn't need to go to stupid lockers

Yep and that’s why he needs a full rework because it’s clear the devs can’t balance his current power

His power started out bad, since it's pretty much a carbon copy of Huntress. There really wasn't much thought put into his power. Huntress throws things to put you into a dying state, Trickster throws things to put you into a dying state. The only difference is the amount and that doesn't differentiate the power enough. Why would I want to play Huntress if I have Trickster or why would I want to play Trickster if I have Huntress.
Plus, lets face it. Huntress wearing a bleeding Moose-head is much more bad-*ss than smooth chested Trickster in his yellow rain slicker.
