Bloodweb Rework - With Example Pictures
I want to propose a change to the bloodwebs regarding the entity picks and the general layot!
What this should achieve:
- more perks in shorter time
- shorter bloodwebs
- help for new players
(don't wonder about the addons in the pic, I just had no energy to give the tree variaty so I copy pasted 2 things!)
Like you can see above the entity picks from the basis/root instead of the end. Each perk tree opens with 6 perks directly at the basis when one is picked the entity blocks a random perk blocking all addons following it. The entity is not targeting the perks itself but the "root" instead which means it would still act this way if there are no perks left anymore.
With this changes the entity will always take exactly 50% of the tree which is more then it does at average now.
Nice to have changes:
- Click on perk/addon/offering instead of holding it for 1 sec.
- faster animations
I hope you like it and I hope BHVR likes it so we can get this instead of what we have now which would a improvement on all fronts.

Seems good to me.
Easy to implement and will help a lot with current grind.

A huge improvement! I would support this change. However, I’d like to see the progression system changed to be less reliant on RNG sometime in the future.

Damn now that McLean is gone I dont think any Dev will see this at all.
Best of Luck my DUDE

There should be someone, who just reads forum all day and share good posts to devs.

This is an amazing idea to reduce the grind!
That's why it will never be implemented as the devs seem to be too scared of people leaving once the grind it done for them to ever fix the ever increasing grind.

They did lower grind before, I wasn't playing at that time, but I think you wasn't able to get 2 perks from 1 Bloodweb before. Correct me, if I am wrong.
I think they would get more players, if they lowered grind needed to play this game. I have everything I want and I still play, but I would never suggest dbd to my friends, because of that grind. DBD costs a lot (with DLCs) and there is insane grind on top of that.
They made tutorial better to help new players. ######### tutorial, fix grind to help new players.

I mean this is a great idea but like most multiplayer games, having a massive grind promotes getting somewhat addicted/involved with the game to a point it becomes hard to just leave it, since you spent so much time on it and it feels like a waste. As someone who spent a lot of time and more money than what I'm capable of admiting in League Of Legends, leaving the game was hard, since I felt it was the only game I was good at for I spent a lot of time learning the game and having so many in-game content made it even harder. As you get more involved with the game it's usual that you'll spend real money in unlocking characters since the iri-point progress vs the costs of characters vs your progress early into the game are stupidly unbalanced. The grind is frustrating for the playerbase but economically it's so good for the game.
The devs want this so long time players still have hard to achieve objectives since unlocking 3 perks from tier 1 to 3 on every character is a ridiculous amount of points, and for other not long time players to feel they have a big challenge ahead of them and spam the game to eventually overcome this challenge. And this is just talking about bloodpoints. I wish they would sometime reduce the amount of grind because seeing big streamers with thousands of hours in this game still having to farm so many points each time a character releases makes the idea that new players have a frustrating slow to progress hell ahead of themselves really easy to grasp.

So in over one month no dev looked at this. I mean yes there a ton of posts but if you have a "Feedback and Suggestions" category I expect that everything will be equaly valid to the devs. This only shows that we as community have no voice and this is showen by the resent updates and changes. I wish our voice would have more weight especially with stuff like this topic which would help new players and old players alike and perhaps even bring more profit to BHVR.
Like a parent would say: I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed.

Devs almost never watch posts, just mods.
I wonder, if mods ever send good ideas to devs, or we just talk to ourselves.
Which is pitty, I really like your idea.

Yeah I think you are right.
