Customize Your Killers Basement!
Players should be able to go into a customization screen and customize their own killer basement for matches they go into. You can make the killer basement look how you want it to! This would be awesome! Lets discuss details on this shall we?!

I've learned to not write a whole paper on initial posts for things like this or people wont read it...
I know people have talked about basements matching the killers theme or something like that before. I mean that alone would be cool enough as it is! The basement really really needs to match the theme of every killer. The same old basement gets old.
But also or just being able to customize your own basement would be really cool I think! Whether you could make one for each killer or just a default one for all your killers is an idea too. But in this example I'll just use a default customized basement for all of your killers.
But ya you wouldn't be able to make it any more dangerous or change the hook locations. I'm talking more just about cosmetically.

It would be so nice if we could. They could add these into the Rift so it's not just Charms and Cosmetics only

That's also a great addition to this idea! I could see that being one of the ways but not the only way of doing so. But that's a different discussion. But I like the idea of unlocking cosmetic stuff for you basement!

Cool idea actually! It's similar to the private bases from pokemon Ruby and Sapphire lol.
Id stick in a bar in the back and a free weights section also.

Extra customization is always fun, but remember that it can’t be anything too crazy where it would cause serious lag and performance issues.
Perhaps things like posters or the patterns on the walls, the tiles themselves… something simple.

Posters of women wearing less than they should. A lava lamp, some bean bags, and cute psychedelic kitten pattern wall paper. An old juke box that provides some funky music while I am dismembering survivors with my chainsaw. I believe people would feel very comfortable in my killers basement. Oh, and make the hooks pink.

Well... I personally never saw anyone else talk about this idea since I've joined the forums a few months ago my bad lol xD. Great minds think a like a guess! You know there's a saying out there about people ideas. You can have a great idea but if you never execute on it and someone else comes up with it as well and actually does it... Than all you had was a good idea. 🤪

There needs to be killer specific basement looks. I think that would be amazing

For Pig it would be neat if there was a sort of Saw workshop theme to it like the workshop on The Game. Maybe have some cosmetic traps lying about.
Plague could be really cool if it looked like an ancient tomb / walls and floor made from stone and earth with a shrine to her Goat god from the lore.
Hag could have a basement inspired by the basement she was held captive in with rusty shackles on the wall and corpses of previous prisoners etc.
There's a lot of potential here for every killer. Even if these weren't done as a cosmetic item you could bring I think they would be a neat addition to each map they hail from.

Imagine if you killed 50 of a particular survivor (it's 50 because unlike Leatherface who needs 25, it's for EVERY killer so it's much easier to naturally get) you can get a corpse of them to put in the basement.
(an example of Bill where you can lean him against a basement wall)
This is most likely where I'd go if I could customize the basement, try to make it as disturbing as possible. If I can customize the basement mid lobby I'd chose only the 4 specific survivors I see in the lobby to place in the basement (because I'd feel it'd be more creepy to see a dead you then a dead somebody else, but that's just personal preference).

That would be fun for sure. Body bags like charms adorn the ceiling.

I would probably have a mix between a Saw Theme and Trickster Theme.
