Eruption needs buff

What is 6% regress? Nothing.

The main problem with eruption is the kick requirement. If it applied to any gen that had been regressing at any point then it would be a good combo for ruin or surge (you down with surge and surge regresses then all gens affected by surge get eruption for a double effect next down).
Right now it is really only good with pop and could really be swapped out for any better perk.
The perk also has a pretty pointless cooldown with requirements that dont line up well early or mid game, being a kick and then a down (since survivors can easily finish the gen after a kick before you can get a down).

Remember that it applies Incapacitated for 16 seconds. That's 20% that's completely denied and it starts regressing to boot. And that can be applied to all generators with progress on them, AND triggers on downs of any kind.

gens don't lose 1% for every second so it wouldn't be 20% regression.

I don't know how you would buff eruption. I feel like more regression makes sense but I often find the regression not the issue but the kick requirement. Maybe they can make it so once you kicked a gen it's permanently affected by eruption. You would still have a cooldown so it won't be too strong unless you are getting down after down. They might have to nerf the incap though.

It is applied 1-for-1, so you deny additional 16 seconds of progress if they were working on it when it goes off. That's the 20%.

It really doesn't matter what you do with eruption kicking gens is a massive time sink, lost distance and generally is hyper inefficient. Eruption and gen slowdown needs to have more passive like effects. Surge was a good idea they just made the cooldown excessive and the regression to low. Ruin is the only real gen slowdown I can advocate because every other regression perk is just so bad.
