Hey Developer! It's time for a new game mode...
I know this has probably been mentioned hundreds of times. But it really is time this game incorporates a new game mode. It's almost baffling to me that there isn't. I mean the game has a big enough player base. Plenty of new incoming players, and a hungry crowd wanting it. So my question developer's, is why haven't we seen any type of new mode?
Are we worried about longer match ques? More bugs? More coding? Trying to get the current game in the right position?
If so is there every going to be a new game mode? Or is this it? What game mode would you like to see in this game?

I want a new game mode, preferably a ranked mode first that takes away all perks items, and add-ons so that the sweaties can play with themselves there.
Otherwise, something like a survival mode in which you actually need to wait until Daylight to escape would be cool.
But the devs should fix the current game first.

Improbable. Game generates revenue as is. No incentive on the dev side to expand or be inclusive with game modes.
Never gonna see 2 killer mode
AI is on mobile, but the games written out on different architecture so we likely won't see anything like that
It seemed like the rift was gonna be this awesome new game mode, but all it did was create off-topix objectives sometimes completely unrelated to the trial at hand; this results 4k games sometimes since survivors aren't focusing on escape.
Game is stale and not getting fresh anytime soon as long people keep dropping money on Nea skins

Well hopefully one of these dev's went to business school and knows that you can't rely on a product to stay the way it is and perform long lasting results...

Well that is totally dependent on how many Nea skins they sell a day. If there's over 100,000 concurrent players and even if only 1% spend $10 a day, that's $10,000 a day in revenue. Yea, there's taxes, artists, employees and their garbage retirement funds to look after, but BHVR can continue to rely on netting those funds as long people keep blowing their milk money on neon Nea skins.
The squeaky-est wheel is a call for more neon Nea skins.

Is their job to rack up as much money as they can and let the game die one day? Okay if that's true, you're completely correct.
But I want to see this game go for the next 5-10 years. What I am saying is products and services have to adapt and grow to survive in todays ever growing culture and competitive demands for unique and fun games. I've seen countless games just die from being neglected by their creators and it's sad.
I'm not saying that BHVR is neglecting us. I actually like BHVR as a gaming company. I am just saying I hope they come up with a new game mode eventually. Will a new game mode "fix" this scenario of the game dying in 5-10 years? No it's just an example of ways to stay current with the gaming world.

I would love a 2 killer game, but its not going to happens.
A lot of bugs and work, like, imagine PH working on the ground over a trap, hole from demogorgon or hag rune, how does that interact.
Does billi and buba stops with nemesis zombies?
Can traps stack together?
Double of the same killer, can one demogorgon travel to another portal that isnt yours?
It ""COULD"" be done with work but as i said 2 killers is not going to happen.
And tbh, i cant think in another "game mode" for dbd :S

A lot of people talk about a 2 killer mode but I think there are tons of other ideas out there. I don't think it's a 2 killer mode TBH. Idk if it's a game mode that revolves around the current mechanics or a different playstyle entirely.
Only game mode I could see with the current resources is a mode where you go in and are given a completely random perk build with a random survivor. And same with the killer.

I'd love a mode where there are no gens. The match is timed but breaking hex totems reduce the timer. Killers can repair hex totems to extend the time back to what was taken but no one knows where they are and there are no perks to show them on the map for either side. They relocate when broken/restored.
If you make it to the end of the timer the gates open automatically and you can try to escape.
Hooks work as normal.
Chests have items that can stun the killer but no health items. Only other survivors can heal you but it wastes time when you could be collecting points.
How do you collect points? Points pillars, like the ones that were seen for the 5th anniversary that gave you the golden glow, will appear and disappear randomly in the match and you can claim them to increase you BP level. Different colour pillars give different BP amounts..
If the timer gets to a certain point and you are below a certain number of BP you will be revealed to the killer for 'x' seconds.
There are three sets of doors on each map. They do not all open at the same time and close at undetermined intervals. If you choose to stay when you can leave to farm points you better hope you don't miss your chance.
Who will survive?

I actually like this I'd play this mode.
