Why Do Badham and Haddonfield Still Remain Unbalanced?
I don't understand how these maps are still in the game in their insanely survivor-sided state.
Even with the preschool rework, Badham is as bad as ever. Literally every tile is a massive time waste for most killers. The school, hell house, two-story house, shack, with good pallets linking them together depending on rng. The breakable walls don't do anything except open up more options for the survivors.
Haddonfield, everyone knows the infinite windows, the great hedge and white fence walls, horrible hook placement, etc.
I'm tired of being sent to these maps over and over by survivors knowing it's an easy escape most of the time. Is there some secret to countering these structures other than hoping the survivors are complete potatoes? If not, why have they not been addressed and balanced?

Can't wait for Badham to get like a fourth rework in 2034 only for it to still suck.

Honestly even if they are potatoes, if they have good rng and all their crutch perks then a lot of the time it's still game over unfortunately.

Nightmare on Elm Street is the worst DLC, change my mind.
The only good thing in it are some perks.

Ehh, I wouldn't say that.
Once upon a time, Freddy was actually a cool killer. Badham has always sucked, though. And Quentin is kinda meh I guess.
In my opinion, Halloween is the worst licensed chapter, and Of Flesh and Mud is the worst original chapter.

Five versions of badham and one haddonfield. You do the math, it always adds up to mismanagement.

Halloween is awesome. Shape is one of the best killer adaptations, and almost all perks are great. And map was a great horror movie set, awful in terms of balance, but awesome in details.

I like Myers and all, but nowadays his power is kinda outdated. Laurie is cool, but her perks were some of the worst designed in the game and only got balanced a little while ago. And Haddonfield is... Well, do I even need to go into it?

Because the devs only care about the survivor community, since they're the majority in a 4v1 game. They've become a profit-greedy, soulless corporation

This is why Survivors get nerfed for 5 years now... If Devs would only care for Survivor, they would still have their broken Stuff. Killers would still play, they played back then and would still play now.
@Topic:
I dont think that Badham is that bad. The school and the House of Pain are strong, but it is not like it is impossible to win overall. Basically every Pallet outside of a Building is unsafe and playable for the Killer.

That's why coldwind didn't get nerfed at all during the rework despite the high escape rate. That's why cowshed still has an ungodly number of strong pallets and jungle gyms.
Badham is a very strong set of maps, it's not just about pallets. Gens are hard to defend, the buildings are strong, and even 5000hr veterans that play both ways agree with me on that.

And here am I, loving Badham as a killer main.
Tbh it is actually my favorite map.

Great, I'll just chase them outside of all the buildings that are easily within a safe distance of 6 out of 7 gens...
I know I can eventually get a hit by holding W at the preschool but by the time I "win" that chase the match is over vs any competent survivors. Just the fence vault loop outside school is a guaranteed 30-40 seconds of time wasted with no pallets used. Then there are guaranteed 2 god pallets inside that can double that time or buy enough time to reach another of the multiple safe buildings.
I main survivor. Every one of the primary structures on that map is insanely strong. Throw on perks like Iron Will, Lucky Break, Quick & Quiet, Deception, etc., and they're even worse with the multiple windows, lockers, and audio occlusion bugs between floors.

Maybe it's not in the contract. Or the devs think it's fine. Most likely the latter.

WDYM, Badham is horrible. You can get the school, the House of Pain, killer shack and house with 4 windows. Each of these tiles is strong on its own, but sometimes you get them all chained together. You can get the house with three (!) pallets in front of it, how tf is that a thing.

I feel like Badham annoys me a lot more than Haddonfield because at least Haddonfield is beautiful and a smaller map. Badham has basically nothing going for it but the boiler room is cool...

His is outdated, but if watched first movie you would understand my point better.
Killer and perk wise Halloween is better than Nightmare On Elm Street.

To this day, I still wonder what the hell the devs were thinking when they designed Decisive Strike in 2016.
