Halloween Event, Myers, update?
So Halloween is the next Event we are getting and it would be the obvious time for a Myers shake up. I don't believe he needs a full rework like Freddy got but some aspects of Myers are outdated. I could point out Trapper, Legion as other examples, god... poor Legion has had so manny changes already and he's still outdated by years i can't figure out how he ended up like this...
Back to the point, Myers.
How i'd update Myers? Well i'd literally make him be the Shape, meaning whenever a Survivor is outside of the TR they can't fully see Myers, they see a silhouete, an all Dark and blurry Shape of a Man. This would help Myers aproach in Tier 1 alot for most players, you know the regular ones, who aren't putting filters of top of filters and messing with screen res and whatever.
I'd keep the distance and stalk speed relation as is but i'd make distance stalking a bit better to again help with Tier1.
For Tier 2 i'd split the powers of Tier3, Tier 2 would make Myers vault faster , would give Myers a 10% reduction to stun times and a 10% increase to kicking speed. Myers is meant to be Unstoppable so being stopped by a measely pallet is a bit discouraging to say the least. Red stain comes back in tier 2 and so does the 16 meter TR.
Tier 3 would buff everything from Tier 2, still give the 1 shots with increased Lunge and now it would buff picking up survivors, carrying speed and locker opening.
If you're following my reasoning i'm giving Myers parts of a few Perks, namely Bamboozle, whcih he always had, Brutal Strength, Enduring and Fire Up. THese 4 perks are now base kit Myers but on weaker versions.
My idea is to first of all make Myers as sneaky as possible early on and when he tiers up then he abandons some relliance on stealth to focus on his Hellish Pursuit, chasing and making Survivors feel helpless against a being that apparently nothing can stop and then in Tier 3 he is all about finishing the job. I want to give Myers a feel of Power like no other killer has. Every killer should be unique in their stats, i can understand having a standard for each archtype of killer but not all killers need to share the exact same stats even inside the same archtype.
I don't believe the game should be so focused around gens. I don't believe killers should get rewarded or punished because of gens. 12 hooks is already a big enough challenge for most killers, for most players, in most matches. So as you can clearly tell i'm buffing Myers in the ability to chase and hook, not in slowdown potential.
I don't want you to use the empowered base Myers to just slap Slowdown perks and make use of his brute strength. If anything i want you to use the cookie cutter perks like Infectious, like Dark Devotion, Play with your Food, STBFL, anything that isn't a Slowdown perk. But changing Myers alone isn't enough for this, we'd need core game design and philosophy changes aswell. However i still think my changes to Myers would make a better M1 killer capable of playing a level above where he is now in terms of viability in high skill.

I like it, especially as a Myers main.
He definitely lacks the menace he's known for in the films, in the DBD universe.
Your ideas are good for bringing that tension from the big screen to the game.👍🏾
