Gens are way too quick at red ranks

Im literally spawning in my side of the map, then traversing to the other side and getting a tinkerer notification, how is this possible? nerf gen speeds they are too fast, even when i play survivor they are extremely quickly completed. this is not fun gameplay, games progress way too quick in high elo because people sweat, and then im forced to tunnel, because oh my ruin got cleansed and now i have no gen pressure

Gens speeds arent 2 fast. these cases where gens get done that fast are cause people have very specific gen rushing builds. its not that common.

You will get used to it. 3 gens in 2 minutes is a worse case scenario and then it’s actually pretty hilarious survivors will have the stones to complain you tunnel someone after that. I can’t tell you how many times 2-3 gens pop before corrupt is over but I’ll still get salty -reps for tunneling/camping/slugging to counter the gen rush. That’s why I will never take the complaints seriously.

Anyways, unless you are playing a high mobility killer I’d probably dedicate at least 1 slot to the early game. Discordance, corrupt, and lethal pursuer all can let you hit the ground running.

The best way to win is just to hard tunnel the first survivor you find, straight through DS. I typically run very strong 1v1 chase killers or 1 shot killers so I can camp people to death without having to deal with the second chance perk chain that comes with a last second unhook

I don't think the gen speeds are the problem, but rather survivor spawns and maps. Survivors tend to spawn together most of the time, usually by a gen and/or at the far end of the map. It also depends on the map, too, because if you're not playing a high mobility killer and you get a big map (Like Mother's Dwelling, for example), then gens will probably go by very fast.

I'm actually seeing this gen rush build more and more and I gotta say it's not very fun to go against.

I gotta agree with you on that. Only way I can counter this is with my Freddy Build. I don't want to have to sweat to beat these SWF teams who just want to do all 5 gens in 5 minutes. I mean where's the fun in that? I think what they should do is have the entity lock gens for 20 seconds after one is completed. But unfortunately it's the primary objective for the survivors so not much else they can do.

I’d like to take time to stop repairing gens and smell the flowers, but without any guarantee I can have a decent length match myself as a solo survivor, there’s just no other option.

Thank the DS nerf for gens being slammed even harder.

Solo queue I can't mess around unfortunately, teammates seem to do jack when in solo. But when u play killer somehow everyone is working together so perfectly 😂

Don't care how common it is. The problem is the fact that it's even possible to do gens this quick. "Oh, but most teams who do a gen in 30 seconds lose anyway." But what happens when they don't? What happens when they actually take advantage of the game starting with 20% of their objective being done already?

It sucks , but from what I can say , changing gens speeds cause some sweat lord's have a very specific build isn't gonna help. Good thing we got perks like corrupt tho I wish it survivors weren't so spread out. So we could get actual value out of it. I run lethal for stuff like this.

This is more of a map and spawn issue...

Tunneling and Gen Speeds are 2 sides of the same coin. You can't fix one without fixing the other.

It's way to easy for killers to get to red ranks and then complain that survivors are OP when the reality is that they got ranked into a group they really shouldn't be in. I am looking forward to MMR so that they won't be out matched completely and the best part is they won't even know because ranks are hidden. They'll think they're going verses competitive teams because of their fragile egos.

It's because maps are too big and spawns are too random. If all 4 spawn separately there's literally nothing you can do

Honestly, just tunnel and face camp with NOED/No Way Out/Blood Warden and reliably 4K every game.

Bonus fun points for ruining toxic survivors days.
