Would you be okay with two ladders? Ranked and Unranked

So basically with MMR the game is now heading towards a more competitive state, nonetheless, there's a lot of stuff from each side that might feel unfair.

I play both sides, red rank survivor and red rank killer.

I think a good way to avoid "sweat fests" would be to take away some stuff from both sides.

Ranked play for killer would ideally prevent you from using the overpowered addons and any Mori.

For survivor prevent SWFs squads, only allow up to two survivors paired together, prevent use of overpowered iri items.

I don't mean these to be the only rules, I would love for others to join the discussion. I mean, even MOBAS have unranked play, why wouldnt an assymmetrical game like DBD have it?

It would be interesting. And ranked would be probably easier (if rank reset exists) than the "casual" playlist with MMR, but i dont know how it would affect matchmaking time.

Nobody would play ranked. There's no point to it.

Also Moris aren't overpowered. It's literally just a time wasting animation that doesn't proc your perks.

Nope, don't make finding a match take even longer.

Doing this will mean longer queue time since making "unranked" and "ranked" create two separate pools. And it doesn't change the fact that Tryhards can still join unranked and sweat to demolish you. Also it won't be too different from ranked with the changes you suggested.

IMO it would be better if you can't use another killer/survivor teachable perks.

a much better way would be to seperate "the top 5%" as devs call this group, per opt-in. if you CHOSE to include that players in your matchmaking it is fine, but if you don't want this kind of gameplay, you will be spared from it. the most problems and the breeding ground for most toxic people is the fact that it is still very common that you get mouched in the first minute by tunneling and hook camper without any chance of counter. a 400h player is simply not experienced enough to compete with a 3-6k h player. seperating this groups per opt-in would in my opinion helps a lot for the game culture
