Cenobite's attack/lunge seems short

I don't know if it's just me, but I seem not to be able to do a lunge attack with Pinhead.
It is not because of latency. 30-50ms should be fine. And the Survivors didn't have a high ping as well.
Maybe it's just the visuals, idk. It just feels strange compared to other killers.

Try standing point blank and having your swing go straight through the survivors.
But yeah, the lunge is a lot shorter than others.

Yeah, I mean his lunge range. The normal range seems fine.
I am used to just lunge at everything (don't know why lol). So I often miss, because the lunge is so tiny.

ive noticed this as well, but its not every single lunge attack that feels this way.
