Bloodlust [it needs a buff]
Since I want to really just get to 200 posts as fast as I possibly can at this point, just to give everyone a special treat on 200, I'll be going through a few things that I believe should be put into the game to really just better its health and give it balance.
The first thing I would like to talk about is Bloodlust, a mechanic I actually think doesn't work either conceptually or in execution. So, how would I change it? Simple, with a few changes to it and already-existing perks.
Bloodlust
- Buff: Bloodlust now increases window vaulting, pallet breaking and wall breaking speeds for Killers by an additional 10% per tier.
- Buff: Bloodlust no longer goes away until you lose a Survivor or hit the Survivor by any means.
Beast of Prey
- Buff: Reduces the amount of time required to reach each Bloodlust tier by 30%/40%/50%.
- Buff: When reaching Bloodlust Tier II, you gain the ability to see the Aura of all Survivors within an 8 meter range so long as you keep chase.
No One Escapes Death
- Rework: The Perk "No One Escapes Death" has been completely overhauled into a chase Perk that accounts for the new Bloodlust mechanics system. In addition, it is no longer a Hex Perk.
No One Escapes Death
- While you are chasing a Survivor, each time you tier up with Bloodlust, you gain an additional 1%/3%/5% increase to the base amount of speed increase you get from Bloodlust, up to 6%/8%/10% per tier.
- Upon reaching Bloodlust Tier II, any Survivors that you are currently chasing are given the Exposed Status Effect for as long as they remain being chased, and for an additional 15 seconds afterward.
- Upon reaching Bloodlust Tier I when the Exit Gates are powered, any Survivor within a 32 meter range of you will receive the Exposed Status Effect for 60 seconds.
- Bloodlust no longer resets upon Injuring a Survivor.
Lethal Pursuer
- Addition: The Perk "Lethal Pursuer" now has an additional ability to give it value and to be fitting of its name.
Lethal Pursuer
- At the start of the Trial, the Auras of all Survivors are revealed to you for 8/9/10 seconds.
- For every 3 seconds you chase a Survivor, your movement speed is increased by 1%, up to 15%.
- For every 3 seconds you chase a Survivor, your vaulting and breaking speeds are increased by 2%, up to 30%.
Basically, this Perk reduces the amount of time needed to get the effects of Bloodlust, but the overall amount of time you need to gain the maximum effects of each Bloodlust tier remains the same.
Trail of Torment
- Rework: The Perk "Trail of Torment" has been completely overhauled to be a chase Perk that is more befitting to its description, while at least retaining its original value.
Trail of Torment
- Upon kicking a Generator, an unknown force will block it from use for the next 20/25/30 seconds and you are given the Undetectable Status Effect.
- During that time, when you get into chase, you will immediately reach Bloodlust Tier I.
- Bloodlust will not regress upon hitting a Survivor and this effect persists until you end chase after the time limit ends.
- This Perk has a cooldown of 60 seconds.
This would make Bloodlust go from a niche and cute little mechanic to something that would really, truly spice things up quite a significant amount.

Is this a meme or what?

What's unfun about it is the fact it goes away by doing anything. Plus, this mechanic has some of the best perk potential in the game that isn't being used right now.
(Also, the trade-off for buffing this is that NOED isn't a must-have Perk anymore.)

or maybe just play better oop
