Do Pinhead's chain cosmetics change the look of the possessed chain?

Pinhead's OC outfit has a chain cosmetic, but obviously you can't see it in the store on Pinhead himself. Does equipping it make the possessed chain (the one you control) change in appearance, or is it just the one he uses as a basic attack? Because if it's just the basic attack one, why on earth would anyone buy it? Neither you nor the survivors can see it.

No I think only the basicattack one I guess i buy the bodypart without the chain bc I needed to watch a video in Slowmotion to see the difference 😅

Love the linked cosmetics when you almost never see the weapon, im not paying 1485 or whatever it is just for a body and face.
(I also would never buy a weapon unless it made the weapon smaller or less noticeable, but that's besides the point)
