He's pathetically weak without his add-ons. With them, he's maybe serviceable at best. Massive disappointment.
Once again, this proves BVHR doesn't test anything after the design phase. It's concept to paper and ship it.

At least he's fun to play. His animations are really cool, and I enjoy seeing them in action. I just kinda wish i hadnt dced at the end on my first 4k with him.

He's eh to play, I have more fun with Trickster so I'd rather play that weak killer instead, I will agree on the animations though, they're extremely nice

I'm playing him on ps5 and he definitely feels high risk low reward for his power. The chain hunt is cool but its easily negated. I've had a few people just hold it. I was wondering about a exposed status effect after like 15-20 seconds of holding the box when not in chase and maybe it lasting like 10 seconds after it solved.

Maybe that's why they implemented MMR with this one.

The problem I have found is when you get hit by a chain whilst solving the puzzle it resets the progress made. I have been downed so many times failing to solve it due to getting hit by the chains. Maybe they weren't just holding it but stuck trying to complete it.

I was kind of hoping people were just exaggerating. But eh. Should feel better once they add MMR and we get the types of survivors who think he is broken against us.

I just hid behind something and the chains don't really get me. It also feels like the teleport takes to long the survivor normally has some distance by the time I get there or is in a strong tile for them or way away from the gens.

I have had a few painful matches with Pinhead, but in general I feel like he is pretty solid already. His chains definitely help in chase, and he has a second objective built into his base kit, which is pretty good.

He is fun but very weak, I see buffs to his M2 incoming.

His power feels useless in strong loops they just brake before you can get to them and the loops that I can hit them with the chains and get a hit I feel like I could of got a hit anyway.

No. When you're brand new to the game you should get Rank 1 survivors so you'll depip them by not hooking anyone and making it impossible to get enough Chaser and Altruism. Even better if you slug one them and can't figure out how to hook.

Thing is, it always just feels like a better play to hold W and M1 over using his power. When you want to use his power, it's typically at loops that are unsafe or that you can already challenge with a mindgame.
Just a terrible feeling all around to play, at least, without his add-ons.
The good news is that if BVHR makes the necessary changes to his ability, he can be an incredibly solid killer. Sadly, that requires them to not only listen (uh-oh) and make the right changes as well (double uh-oh).

I don't use noed nor do I play extremely powerful killers besides Blight, my main is Legion and my side main is Blight, so if you're trying to call me bad I can perform with killers on both ends of the tier list with at least a 2k in about 70% of my matches, I'm just saying Pinhead is bad, simple enough. Legion at least keeps people injured and Clown doesn't need to aim, I just think you don't know how to play killer past rank 18

EDIT: (See like this) BTW if your one of those legion players that WHINED about legion nerfs back in the day. Going into ridiculous threads, with post after post about how bad it was. Only for a developer to tell you guys, point blank, THAT IT WASN'T A NERF. That legion was still up around the SAME KILL RATIO. So it wasn't a nerf, it was a change that legion mains blew out of proportion.
It was because of moments like that, when viewing threads like these. That I have no respect for the OP, it just looks like more of the same. With killers not understanding how to play it, and its easier to come here and complain than it is to L2P.

So far he's like top of bottom tier to bottom of middle tier for me, not very good but not unplayably bad either.
