Let Nurse cancel her blinks

I noticed that other killers are able to prep their power, but can cancel it whenever they want.

Huntress can cancel holding her hatchet, Plague can cancel holding her vomit, Victor can cancel charging his lunge, Pinhead can cancel creating his chains.

What's preventing Nurse from cancelling her blink? Would she be too powerful?

She can sort of cancel her blink by just straight looking down (or by angling it to make long blinks into short).

I can only guess it might just be a balance thing. Like she can ignore near every mechanic survivors have to stave off killers, but you're locked into that first blink that's it.

But IMO, Once you get used to her, you won't have many situations where you'll wish you could cancel it. Just blink near with the first and fine tune it with the second.

Its an intended mechanic so that she commits to a blink otherwise it’ll be really unfair since looping nurse requires listening to the blink charge and if she can cancel it that takes away some counterplay. Just shorten your blink if you overcharge it

    'Remove Nurse's only real downside'

I don't think this is good idea since this would remove one of the few counterplays you can do againts her and even then she can still somewhat use that blink to get to that Survivor.

If they want to cancel the blink outright, it probably wasn't a blink that was going to hit the survivor, fam...

You know one of the major counterplay to nurse is hoping she overblinks and running back into her, which she can counter by blinking down and following up with a 2nd blink to hit but the survivor can then attempt to counter this by running unpredictably too? Or faking doing this and getting a lot of distance, that one too.

If she could cancel her blink this counterplay becomes a death sentence.

Oh, is that what they were trying to do? I just picked her up for mmr and people were running into me which was basically mitigating my screwed up blinks. Lol. I didn't realize they were trying to counter my overblink.

Only downside ? XD let's forget about fatigue, forced look down, 3.89 m/s.

But yeah, I also think that to be able to cancel a blink would be pretty mean and unnecessary. She's a good spot imo (well, not if she has double range and Chili / Ruin / Undying / Tinkerer, there I genuinely think she's unstoppable if you're great with her).

    Wdym by "cancel"?

Cancel as in Billy cancel where there's no real downside?

Or Huntress Cancel where there's a cooldown (in Nurse's case fatigue)?

If the latter, I could see it.

She can teleport through walls and blink up, down so... That cancel thing with no fatigue would be too much in my opinion considering how works her power.
