The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

It is time to raise the bar for survivors (Balance)
More and more survivors are just getting better and better at the game and keeping the balance focused towards more casual survivors is a mistake. The bar needs to be set way higher for this game to have any killer players left.

I agree that the game needs better balance, but most players are not very good and most see no reason to get better. Just play a few hours of solo survivor and you can see this first hand.

I do agree with @Axx that not a lot of Survivors are great, it's just you face a lot of good Survivors because you yourself, according to the SBMM, are a good Killer. There DOES need to be balance changes, but if you make it hard for high skilled players, it'll be impossible for low skilled players. It's just difficult to balance properly.

Make swf's duo only.
Competent survs will still play well in duo, and it gives Killers a chance.

I know a lot of survivors aren't great. There is a divide between those who want to get better and those who don't. However I really think with the implementation of this SBMM, the devs are saying they want players to get better.

idk. currently it feels like just having 4 non swf good survivors is unfun.

And the same could be said when you're the killer running into full swfs over and over, when i get 2 in a row i log off.
Hence why i thought duos could balance it.

Difficult.
But this is their job. And they are paid well.
Time to do the work.

More and more survivors are just getting better and better at the game
Killers on the other hand don't? I miss the logic here...

^ this.
The majority of Survivor players is not really good at the game. The thing is, most Killers are even worse, but since it cannot be their fault that they lost, they must have played against some comp teams.

That will never and should never happen lol

Absolutely, it's not the SWF, it's the individual skills and game awareness of the survivors. Get a group of competent survivors and there's little, if anything, a killer can do. The high-end design of the game is totally around survivors to the point the killer all but relies on survivor mistakes.

There are too many places where killers can't and survivors don't have to. That is what they really need to address. The biggest issues are god pallets, where there is just straight no gameplay at all. (Like, 1/3rd the pallets in the game, the ones in Lerys that block the whole hall, etc) Survivor reaches one, they win. It means the survivor doesn't have to improve, and the killer can't.
The other issue is that they are not addressing the mobility issues, and instead are trying to add lethality, while 'pressure the gens' is becoming mantra. Wraith's biggest power boost for example was pressuring gens due to high mobility. He didn't actually get too much better in the chase. Killers like Trapper, Myers, and Clown are so weak because they don't have the ability to affect gens they are not right next to, compared to Blight who could just come dashing in, or Nurse or Spirit who can just phase on top of you rapidly, or Demogorgon or Freddy who can teleport to certain objectives. Nemisis, Deathslinger, and Pyramidhead are really, really good in chase, but they still have minimal pressure outside of their immediate area, and no mobility.
Pinhead himself is weak despite a good design just because his global pressure takes too long to activate. I just got out of a pinhead match where a Kate and I spawned on a gen (2 other spawned somewhere else), and we two manned the gen before Chainhunt was halfway done. He got injuries on both other survivors, so they weren't working on gens. But imagine if two people working together COULDN'T finish a gen before a chain hunt started. That would mean he would have constant pressure and wouldn't need mobility.

The issue with SWF really comes down to game awareness. Like you said, a solo with great same awareness is scary to go against, but SWF can substitute comms for skill, giving a false sense of ability.

No offense, but . . . not only would it never happen and not only could it never happen.
But it's literally one of the worst ideas I've ever heard outside of " Getting rid of SWF all together. "

skill ceiling is way higher for survivors
1 -
i get you are trying to be funny. but you obviously don't realize how survivor sided the game is. Survivors have a much higher skill ceiling because the game gives them a ridiculous amount of tools. Killer is not given enough tools to combat their tools.

The old balance excuse of just target the weak link doesn't hold as strong with sbmm. As a killer you have to actually be bad enough to get weak survivors in the first place.
4 equally skilled survivors leave very little to capitalize on especially when main balance is around banking on mistakes.
1 -
exactly. there are little to no weak links now.
1 -
Why? It would help remove one of the sections of the game that help to make it unbalanced.
DBD has so many variables that make it hard to balance, removing some of the variables helps.

isint there a way to go around this? two survs make lobby, when they join a killer lobby the other 2 friends join via steam or whatever. that saying no people shouldnt be punished for playing with friends especially since most swf arent these sweat squads and most swf dont even use comms

There is a way to game the system, but its harder, if people queue dodge to get their friends into a game the dodge timer will start affecting them.
And nor should killers be punished because you want to play with your friends. That's what kyf is for.
