I just got out of a match where survivors were saying that they prefer to intentionally lose a few matches in a row just to keep them in a lower bracket. They insisted they get more bloodpoints by looping beginner killers for endless amounts of time.

This has happened to me on several occasions, and they proceed to talk a bunch of crap after the match, teabagging me and insulting me when CLEARLY I was outmatched. This is not even remotely fair. Not only is it not fair, but it's extremely demoralizing and discouraging to have such a toxic player community that can easily be controlled by properly fixing the matchmaking system.

I don't know what you did, but ever since reset, every game I've played has been an absolute nightmare when before the reset I had good and bad matches because I'm honestly not a horrible player.

Seriously. Fix this. It is a fugly time right now in the game.

    You resetting every single player back to square one on an even playing field is forcing not so good players to be matched against the best killers and the best survivors in the same matchmaking pool. It's not okay.

    I don't think this is the issue.. Before you could easily meet people which had lower ranks than you and now there's just a invisible number that takes that instead, I kinda like Grades instead of the old system, people don't need to say "haha I have that rank" when it literally means "I have been playing more" basically, of course it is about skill too, you couldn't get into rank 1 if you didn't know how to properly play, but still..

    I think the change is okay. There will be probably some tweaks later, who knows..

    Ranks mean nothing at all now, it has no effect on matchmaking anymore.

    You also cannot drop grade, only lose your pips.

    Grades are not used for the matchmaking, the reset has no impact on the MMR.

    I still find it asinine that a player can be iridescent rank 1 on the day of reset....

    That can't happen, everyone gets reset to Ash IV with the grade reset, and if you saw someone with that grade, it means they haven't been reset yet.

    This pic was taken today. After reset. If he hadn’t been reset yet, then he had no business being able to get into a match. A red rank killer in a game full of everyone else who has been reset is kind of an exploit or some sort of unfair cheating.

    Again, grades are not an indication of skill nor are they used for matchmaking, if they got in the same match as you, you most likely are at the same skill level as them.

    You know that grade system is only for the reward, while you get opponnets based on SBMM... right?

    surprisingly I actually enjoy it. But I do agree that the system is still picking killers MUCH too strong when it comes to playing as a Survive with Friends group.

    For solo play it isn't bad at all.

    Idk... I guess I really do like it.
