"Camper!" cried the 4 survivors who stayed at the killer shack as I, the killer, tried to leave the basement.

Survivor bad >:(((

So.. you are saying that BBQ encourages camping?
10 -
It encourages me to proxy. If I do not see anyone to go after, I am not leaving.

You aren't wrong. BBQ absolutely encourages camping/tunneling and rewards killer for doing it that's why it needs rework. You should get token only if all survivors are alive. Each token gives 30% instead of 25% like now. BBQ fixed

Or the gained token will get erased, when the surv on the hook gets into the second stage.

Tell me you're a camper without telling me ......

Why do u even listen those crying babies? It's ok if they give u advice that improves your gameplay and gives some results, but listening about how and when u have to catch them is kinda stupid. It's not they who decide how to die (unless suicide) but u, the killer.

No, I am countering their camping. Big difference, this is the alpha Chad Park Ranger method. I am out in the open and have a 32 meter terror radius. The true camper is squatting in a bush like a coward. Think about it.

I thought about it. Play how you like, but I was referencing OP.
I'd still rather go and chase then stand by a hook. But, I'll play how I like. The beauty of DBD.

Yeah, I prefer just running around. I was never a huge fan of camping in first person shooters which is why I got into Overwatch, even their professional players do not check corners because of how wildly inefficient the bush wookie lifestyle is in that game.
That being said, when I am playing to win on Freddy, lol. I wouldn't leave it for the world. But for a Klondike bar? Maybe.

I just afk till someone rescue the hooked surv Done :D

Fair enough!

Well, let's say i'm using BBQ. And i don't see an auras. Why would i leave the hook? That tells me that most likely at least one of you is hanging around.

Just how many "survivor bad" posts are you going to make today?
4 -
What is even the point of this "discussion" you main killer and like to camp and dislike survivors we get it
3 -
Or someone is hiding in a locker or behind a gen. Or running a perk like distortion.
camp if you want to. But that’s not an excuse.
3 -
Right, but if they are doing those things they aren't on a gen. So why would i leave the hook? The problem is camping is usually the result of survivors not pressuring the killer to leave the hook.
0 -
uhm. None of the things say they are not on a gen. In two cases they are VERY likely on a gen actually. And even when hiding in a locker they probably have a gen nearby.
3 -
Yeah. I see both sides of this issue, honestly. If I start to suspect that a killer is running BBQ, I jump into a locker if there's one nearby when they pick up a downed survivor and wait out the timer.
On the other hand, we are supposed to be survivors. Not deliver ourselves into the killer's hands. So if a killer is running BBQ, and hooks someone and then sees zero auras...I don't necessarily blame them for sticking around, at least for a little while. Maybe making a circling patrol of the immediate area before leaving. I've seen fellow survivors do some REALLY stupid stuff, like rushing to get unhooks the very moment the killer turns their back without running BT, so...yeah. I don't hate killers who stay in the area for a bit, just to see.

You're so entitled in ur role that it's horrific ur making 3829 posts today about survivors being bad just play the fuc*ing game
2 -
Right, but what is more likely? That a survivor is waiting around to unhook, or that every other player is hiding their aura from BBQ? Chances are that at least one survivor is nearby.

At that point you are just searching for a ‚reason‘ to camp. You don’t need that. Camping is a valid strategy. Just do it if you want to.

You obviously see camping in a negative light. I don't, of course i'm searching for a reason to camp, just as i'm searching for a reason to not camp, or go to a gen, or mindgame a survivor, or break a pallet. Every move i make in the game is calculated based on the information i have. You are correct in that "I'm looking for an excuse" because i will do the thing i think is the most effective strategy at that time. And if i see nothing on BBQ, that is a good indication that i should hang around the hook and lightly patrol.
