Hex: Noed change idea

There is a TL;DR at the end!

So, at the latest update where you released Pinhead (The Hellraiser DLC) you've added the Scourge Hook.

Now, the idea is that Hex: No one escape death, is rewarding the killer when he gets to the end of the game and he still has all of his totem, meaning you can basically be afk the whole game and when all of the gens are done he is a 1 shot machine where he can camp a hooked player and it will be hard to rescue.

So the idea of the change is making the Hex: No one escape death to a Scourge Hook: No one escape death.

The way it will work is that you need to hook 4 survivors on the selected hooks that way it forces the player to actually play the game and not camp hooked survivors or just not play the game and still get a few kills by playing like that.

TL;DR

-I think that Hex: No one escape death is rewarding killers without doing nothing special (basically can be afk and still win the game at the end)

-I recommend changing the Hex: Noed to Scourge Hook:Noed (where you need to hook at least 4 survivor on the "cursed hook" and only then at the end of the game it will be activated)

-I recommend to the dev team to change some more Hex perks to the Scourge Hook mechanic because its a cool feature and needs to be added to more perks (and not to new killers in the future, just rework some perks).

I don't think NOED is overpowered by any means, it's preventable by breaking totems, however, I wouldn't mind if the Killer actually had to work for it, as currently they just get rewarded for being bad.

On the other hand, the existence of NOED how it is now conditions survivors to play in a specific way, to not genrush. Kinda like Borrowed Time and Decisive Strike do to the Killer, making them not tunnel as bad. You have to either spend the extra time getting the totems, or be mindful that NOED may come into play if you don't. NOED is counterable.

I don't think NOED is rewarding killers who do nothing.

For starters, you still need to be able to find and down all four survivors before anyone opens an exit or finds the Hex. That's not always easy. If you've struggled in that match until the gates were powered then you'll probably still struggle after they're powered.

Now if you've feigned a lower skill than you have until the endgame that's a different story and a bit of a dick move.

Disagree. While Noed is strong late game if u don't intentionally suicide on killer he won't make more than 1 kill. And as survivor your game goal is to escape, not save everyone. (Read game description).

Also i don't agree it encourages bad players. It's more like they either kill u without it because they 3 perk most of the game ( so they are in disadvantage) or pick cause their chosen killer has no other option to secure a kill.

Well, about the totem thing, yes it slow the player and make them break all of the 5 totem to counter NOED, but why do players need to fear at the end of the game to just fall down if the killer didn't even kill 1 player.

Another thing is that finding totems isn't easy (especially not for beginners I still have friends who don't know what to do when they find a totem.

And about the killer being not that good and still get a few kills with NOED is still dumb, rewarding a killer to get at least 1 kill (most of the times he will get even more!) and make the killer rank up because of that

There are three different perks that help extensively with finding totems. Small Game, Detective's Hunch, and Counterforce. Try one of those out and see what works for you. I prefer Detective's Hunch.
