What did you guys do with the real BHVR?

They're in Monto's basement with No0b3

Don't worry. Pig will still get nerfed, and we will know it's the BHVR we all love and hate.

Absolutely nothing you just said contradicts what I just said. The devs were working with a potentially powerful effect: blocking pallets, so they gave it really ######### numbers and strict requirements to ensure it wouldn't become a problem.
The fact that the Killer isn't in position to take full advantage of the effect doesn't contradict the potential power the effect could have if handled carelessly.

I have literally been playing this game since launch.
I think I know how degenerate the patch quality has been as of late.

GOD DAMN
Deathslinger can't quickscope anymore
Plague's infection is more annoying now
More Perk updates / buffs
Survivor addons have numbers now
Hatch won't spawn unless there's only 1 survivor (I'm sure scrub killers will still find a way to complain about this)
Boon Totems
Seriously, when did BHVR start putting out good updates? Where was this level of quality when Nemesis got released?

Besides the unwarranted spirit nerfs yeah this patch is great.

Spirit and Deathslinger probably needed to be addressed. The problem is, they're basically scorched earthing these killers.
"Spirit could force 50/50 mindgames with no counterplay."
"Deathslinger makes lose/lose situations for Survivors with little counterplay."
Their response is: "OK, now they can't do that."
Hm. Well, Deathslinger in particular was a mid-tier killer. Anything he can do to sorta make up for it? No. So now he's just really bad & inefficient Huntress? Yes.
Meanwhile Spirit was top tier - but wait, now Survivors never have to worry about the 50/50, they can see AND hear her in Spirit Walk at all times? How is this killer going to be viable now?
They certainly have stopped touching killers with kiddy gloves, that's for sure. They just grab the issue by the neck, dunk it in a barrel of water and hold it there until it drowns.

I despised deathslinger more than any other killer as survivor but they should throw the old man a bone and make him 115% if they’re gonna do the whole 32m TR thing

The only thing I'm scared of is bugs when the update will be on live, each major update is a bugs fest.
But hey, as you said, they actually did a good job, let's give them that, they deserve it.

That or increase his range to 24m, so its still 75% of his TR.
Spirit and Deathslinger needed tweaks, not sledgehammer nerfs. They've both gone down a couple tiers if these changes go live w/o any help.

VHS still looks a lot better though, most of this update is band aids.
Spirit already has half her nerf dropped. Deathslinger is now getting nerfed heavier than her? Plague is good idea executed horribly, not sure why anyone would want a Killer that removes both Stealth and Healing/Altruism from the match to be made stronger. Plague is just a horrible design. Trapper got a small buff that could of been done ages ago.
Keys and hatch got nerfed, but it's rather small scale for how long it took for them to do it. If this was the idea, this could of been done back when Moris got their nerf. We were told it's cause they had something bigger planned and yet we got this simple change instead.

they mentioned that on spirit only the directional audio might be needed, they might not end up adding the visual indicator.
Agree about slinger, I'm stoked about his ADS spam and stealthiness being nerfed but no he doesn't have a whole lot going on for him otherwise.

That's cap. Spirit is the 2nd best killer in the game solely because nobody can figure out what she's doing, it's a pure guessing game and that's not fun.
I think they went a little too far, I think the directional audio nerf is fine, but I don't know how I feel about her kicking up dust, I hope they don't implement this.
You wanna talk about unwarranted, lets talk about Deathslinger's nerf. Dude was B Tier in basically all tier lists, he was only annoying but not great. His ability to quickscope was the only thing keeping him in B tier.
They're removing it completely in this patch and giving him a measly speedboost while ADS to compensate. Let's not forget about his fat 32 meter terror radius now, Deathslinger is garbage now.

ANd now Boon Totems,,the bad always outweight the good in Dead by Daylight.

Boon Totems are slightly over tuned, but as a concept are fine.
The videos that people post online are legit best case scenarios with multiple boons overlapping each other. Legit if they removed the ability for them to stack, Boon Totems would be fine.
It takes like what, 16 seconds to set one up? 1 or 2 for the killer to break it? It's strong, but that's not a bad thing. I'd rather survivors be given something somewhat strong than for the game to remain the exact same for years and years and years.

I'm kinda scared about the potential of the stealth totem perk. SWFs will abuse it by bringing RPD or Lery's offering and four of these perks, and there is nothing killer can do about that.

Will part 2 remove boon totems, because regardless of any other changes those absolutely ruined the entire game.
0 -
Lmao if you go to RPD you lost anyway, no scratch marks isn't gonna make it any better or worse.
This is like the 100th time the DBD devs have ruined the game, I think it should be fine.

If killer is hunting for a boon totem, they aren't chasing, meaning one more survivor is free to do gens
