Hit Validation on pallets feels really bad as Killer now.
Don't get me wrong, I understand exactly Why this feature is desired. I just gotta make sure BHVR knows that it feels like extremely bad to hit a survivor, hear the weapon smack them, see blood splatter off them and hear them scream in pain. Only for the Server to send me back the info that it didn't happen and smack a pallet on me.
I realize the pros probably outweighs the cons here, but damn BHVR. It stings. Its like once or twice every match.
EDIT: My Ping is usually 29. And I play on low settings with good framerate.
I hope something can be done. Thanks for listening to my feedback.

Same, but from the survivor point of view it seems to be more fair. So for now I guess we just have to suck it up.

bhvr literally took the problem and flipped it to the other side and called it "fixed".

They need to add sound validation along with the hit validation and only when hit validation happens. I think they'll add it soon.

I don't think it's any less dissatisfying to see your weapon go through a survivor, and it only hides the problem. Of course, that's often what BHVR does

BHVR just flipped it to the killer side with a copout excuse that the survivor dropped it first on the server. Doesn't change the fact that the desync is destroying the fun for killers or our ability to get hits near Pallets. Just like many things, BHVR doesn't care that much when it only affects 1 player in a match instead of 4. No wonder survivors' queue times are bad

They could fix their servers or their code so they aren't so horribly desynced and the code isn't so buggy and hard to run? They absolutely can do more lol, this is just the easy "fix"

said it before, the issue is that there seems to be double hit-validation somehow.
The killer-sided one that calls for the effects (for both sides), and the new server sided one that calls for status and health stuff.
I'd love to code dive to see how the heck that happened, because by all means only the server sided validation should call all these functions

There's definitely some extreme jank with the reverted hits where it just thinks being stunned reverts hits even if they happened. You can see here that blood orbs literally drop. Fortunately she was in a deadzone but consider how important that first hit for oni is. Imagine if I had gotten cheated out of that first hit because of this garbage.

The same thing happen for survivors when they use dead hard 99 percent of the time

From what I've heard this is just a band-aid fix. They are working on fixing the issue, but it's never going to be 100% fixed do to general latency.

It's the killer having grabs taken away all over again.

Without knowing the ping you play with makes your post totally "useless" (without being rude, didn't find another word).
If you have 30 ping and experience this, ok it's unfair but if you have 90 ping, well it's totally normal and the problem is your connexion...

There are those who think that BHVR still provides server-side connection :D

No one does, but knowing BHVR they will just move on to more pressing issues like nerfing pig or adding in changes no one wanted.
