Get rid of SBMM
Tired of playing versus survivors that are competent and do gens and abuse perks like borrowed time and DS. EVERY SINGLE GAME EVERYONE RUNS THE SAME PERKS! DS/BT/DH/X .. if I don't down someone immediately then the game is pretty much over.
And to top it all off there is nothing more helpless feeling than hooking someone at the end and you know they will escape because of a hook swarm and BT hit + DS... complete horse #########. I keep getting tryhards over and over again and all I am doing is playing killer as a daily and that is it. Who in their right mind thought SBMM would be a good idea in a game that is unbalanced as DBD? I uninstalled and am going to play civ 5 now, thanks for reading Mr. Cote.

Skill based matchmaking is not the problem so much as the game design is.

i disagree. as whacky as the MMR is right now, its a better system than before. Atleast Matches are more consistent now and solo q is actually bearable and fun sometimes.

The sad thing is that the survivors are not tryharding at all. Watch any streamer playing survivor and they are goofing off and relaxed because they have time to do that and the game mechanics allow it.

This joke was great, I had tears in my eyes. XD
But seriously, my mates (about 6 with me) mostly quitted playing killer because of this.
Second, BHVR is not transparent about the new MMR. In the PTB, ranks were hidden, for "testing" reasons. (Quote BHVR: "They are not representive". Yes, they are not representive, but why hiding them?).
Now, the ranks are not for your skill, but for your playtime until rank reset. This is very shady...

Keep laughing then, because my experience since MMR has been 100% better.
I get to play killer without facing seal team teabag 90% of the time, and I'm still acheiving a healthy escape rate as survivor.

Well, I got the opposite. First time playing blight, everyone escaped, Teabagt in the exit gate, called me noob, and on his steam page had over 1200h of playtime, the others had similar hours...
Now tell me it is working.

oh yeah dont get me wrong, playing killer with high MMR sucks and the transparancy of this system sucks. at the end of the day theres so much wrong with this game that they would have to fix everything to make SBMM an actual good system. And lets be real, that wont happen any time soon or maybe ever.....

I guess you´re right. But I keep my hopes up. I played this game so long and must say:
It was a long way from 2016 to 2021. Everything has changed. Both good (Pallet vacuum is not a thing anymore (most of the time)) and bad (New rank system and the Pinhead topic).
