Yeah I'm gonna miss Hawkins, it was a good map, different and variety is always good.
Also my fav map to play gen killer map sized aoe blast Doc on. I've burned up all my hawkins offerings on him just to get my fill before its gone.
distressing, overcharge, unnerving presence, then anything else you like huntress lullaby, overwhelming presence, coulrophobia, mindbreaker, sloppy or thana, noed.
Bung on calm carters note and an iri queen and blast you way to non stop gen explosions.

Hawkins always motivated me to play Myers, it felt like playing a different game and is always a treat to go against.
Hopefully I'll still get the same effect on lery's, haven't tried yet.

I'll miss it. I just hope they don't delete it completely because if the Stranger Things game flops, Netflix might be willing to allow it back in the game in a year or so.

Yes. It was my go to map to use for killer adepts. I am glad I did them all before they remove it.

Any loss of a map in the game should be regrettable. More maps -- more variety -- better for the game itself.
I hated Hawkins when I first started playing the game (from both sides), but eventually once I learned it, I started enjoying it. It was a very good map for most killers I played, and as survivor, I started enjoying it as well. I have had a lot of good results from both roles there over the time it's been around.
I would hope that the devs will eventually use the framework in place for the map and rework it into something original for a killer currently lacking a map.

I wish BHVR would be more transparent about the reason why it has to leave the game. I can understand if in their contract after Nov 17th they can't update the map to be compatible with new killers/survivor perks so they have to cut it loose but then how are they able to allow Demo/Nancy and Steve in new maps? The whole removing Hawking just rubs me the wrong way and doesn't really make any sense.

One less indoor map to get on my first game as Billy/Oni/Huntress! Going to miss it for Ghostface/Myers games, though.
I'm not going to miss that super loud rat in the cage on the top floor. That thing scared the crap out of me every time I thought I'd hide in that room as survivor.
I will not miss all of the pallets, either. That place was like pallet palace.

I wouldn't mind if they reskinned it as McMillan Estate. And I hate those maps. But just the thought of losing content makes me feel sad.

aesthetically and graphically i find it extremely boring and i genuinely despise the gameplay for both sides. killer powers require LOS and hawkins breaks LOS constantly, and I just find it miserable as survivor every time I play on it. I'm happy to see it gone, though I wish they'd do something else with it. I'd like to see it opened up like the top floor of The Game was and have it turned into an underground blighted laboratory.

######### Hawkins. There's really no other way to put. Terrible loops that are either completely safe or completely dead. Map layout shuts down lots of killers by just existing. I can't wait for it to go!

I didn't like the map really. I liked the exit doors. I didn't like the numerous bugs it has that are still there and aren't gonna get fixed.

Aesthetically, Hawkins might be my favorite map, but it's hugely imbalanced. Stealth Killers practically win for free, and other Killers just get denied of their power. Funny, that kinda describes indoor maps in general.
