Iridescent Head and Huntress Changes
Iridescent Head is one of the most controversial add-ons in Dead by Daylight. BHVR nerfed the hatches to be limited to 1 max. I think this is actually a very bad change. I like to suggest the following changes:
- remove the limitation to 1 hatchet
- put survivor into dying state who got hit by a hatchet that where 24m or farther away
I think that will introduce a new way for skilled Huntresses to hit survivors and survivors have enough distance to dodge. It also removes the capability to camp with Iri Heads on many hooks; which is still possible with only one hatchet.
Venomous Concoction:
- increasing the timer to 10sec (was 5)
This was one of favorite add-ons before the nerf. I agree it was too strong, but 5sec is too weak for a green add-on.

that's not a good idea because the whole reason they got removed was because skilled huntresses would hit 3 people across map because bbq and lethal persuer and the games already over. that won't bother good players and cause more drama over it

Lethal Persuer was released after this nerf occurred. This can't be the reason tbh.
The main reason for change was camping and downing survivor easily in quick chases; which still is not possible with my suggestion.

Agreed, iri head is such a boring addon to use. It would be so much better if it would require a long snipe for an insta down

If you get hit with a hatchet from BBQ or Lethal Pursuer, you deserve it. OP is correct, make this add-on skill based and not 'Hur hur hur free insta-down point blank.'

couldn't have said it better myself :D

If there was a range for it, it'd be useless.

Or, remove the whole one-shot thing...
Instead, let it turn her lullaby into her Terror Radius. Imagine what kind of build you could do with that. Doctor (and Legion, sorta) wouldn't be the only one who could use weird TR builds, anymore.
The addon would have to be renamed. But I think this would fit so much better with how territorial she is, lore-wise...

No, if there's a range for it, it becomes skill based. Currently no one ever tries skill shots with Iri Head because you only have one, so you save it when you can't miss. Removes the best part of Huntress, and is completely unfun for survivors. This fixes both problems.

Should be based on range and remove the limit to award skillful Huntress play. Since current Iri Head is basically just walk right up to them and hit them. Which isn’t that skillful or interactive

No, it would massively make her zoning power much stronger. It would also allow her snipes to be very lethal as well.

I like that, it is what people wanted it to be in the first place.
But maybe just 20 meters? 24 seems like just a wee bit too much.

I've agreed in the past that the insta downs should be at range, but that would still make them less than useful and unusable on some maps.
The only difference would be on the off chance of being able to hit a survivor from 24 meters they'd go down instantly.

Her add on is good. No need for a nerf.

For someone who uses it like your name, sure.
Also, I don’t think “nerf” is the right word here, but rather rework. Add the range requirement or something, but also give back more hatchet capacity.

It's hilarious how people prefer an addon that (limits the power of huntress and is boring to the survivors) than (more power-base for the price of having more skill). You people have to be very bad playing huntress to not want this rework. LOL
Iridescent head: now you can only carry 3 hatchets, but hitting a survivor more than ¿18/20/22? meters away puts them in the dying state.
The three numbers, is because I'm not sure what distance requirement is the best. :)

I agree with the Iridescent head changes but not with the concoction changes

I just don't like the idea of a irderesent addon that takes away how many hatchets she gets then making her have to Tom Brady you to get value. Rework would be great. Maybe make her addon so hitting a survivor with a hatchet reveals the nearest survivors aura for x amount of seconds. Just spitballing here
