An Easy Way to Shake-up the Meta

Give the perks numerical values from 1 - 5 based on general strength and cap your point expenditure to 12 on your perks. For example, if you want Iron Will and Dead Hard in your build, both would be 5s, so you'd be stuck with something like Sole Survivor and Buckle Up for your other two perks. Same for killers. If you want Pop and Corrupt, both 5s, then you get Monstrous Shrine and Unrelenting

You have no idea how much I would love this. The only scary thing is devs would make ruin like a 3, and brutal strength would be like a 5. Lol.

This sounds like the CoD pick 10 system... I LOVE IT

Horrible idea. Different perks are of different strength on different killers and on different maps.

And I'm not even talking about perk/build synergy.

Or that this approach will just create new stale meta, worked around this arbitrary pointlimit.

Honestly i don't like it. It forces undue balances (some perks would have to be adjusted to fit a lower or higher numerical value) and as someone said would create a new stale Mets where you would see the same builds.

Devs should just listen to HybridPanda and have whoever does the Shrine of Secrets create a system to ban 2 perks for each side every week. 2 for killer 2 for survivor.
