How to make Prestige worth it

Here's my idea:

P0 (Current): 7K Ultra/ 6K Very / 5K Rare/ 4K Uncommon/ 3K Common

P1: 6K Ultra/ 5K Very/ 4K Rare/ 3K Uncommon/ 2K Common

P2: 5K Ultra/ 4K Very/ 3K Rare/ 2K Uncommon/1K Common

P3: 4K Ultra/ 3K Very/ 2K Rare/ 1K Uncommon/ 1K Common

This would reduce the bloodpoint grind per web, while also giving a major incentive to Prestige your characters. Seeing as they mentioned they're thinking of ways to make it more "worth it and rewarding" to Prestige, this seems like a nice way to do it, since item rarity would stay the same but prices would be lowered based on your Prestige level.

Another thing that needs to be addressed is Perk Tiers. Since BHVR has moved away from level 1 perks sometimes being better than their level 3 counterparts, its nonsensicle for anyone to keep perks at level 1 or 2. These lower level perks serve as nothing but a BP sink and clutter the bloodwebs until fully learned.

I suggest we keep perk tiers on their original characters until learned as a learnable perk, and have all learnable perks instantly max level on other characters blood webs. Effectively dealing with the grindest part of leveling a character up.

Something like that would probably be good. Maybe tweak your system so commons at P3 would be 500 instead of 1k so they're still worth less than the uncommons.

No. Prestiging is fine as is. It is just the perk grind that is the massive issue. The whole point of prestiging is to lose everything and gain something like the bloody cosmetics. All they need to do is fix the perks by removing the tiers and that will immediately also help with prestiging. But the way Prestiging works is perfectly fine.

You mighta missed the dev stream, but they said they have plans to rework the way prestiging works to make it alot more fun and rewarding. They also mentioned it again when a question was asked about reducing the grind...so who knows prestiging may actually do something like OP suggested. We really don't know yet.

I feel like this would make rare addons way too common.

    Better would be:

    P0: 7,000, 6000, 5000, 4000, 3000

    P1: 7,000, 6000, 4000, 4000, 3000

    P2: 7,000, 5000, 4000, 4000, 3000

    P3: 6,000, 5000, 4000, 4000, 3000

Remove tier 1-2 perks and all except bonus Bp offerings. Even with Op suggestion bloodweb is still full of garbage just by discount price.

Rare add ons are already common lol if you're playing that killer regularly you're not running out of Purple or greens. Even then most ultra rare add ons are already gutted to death anyway.

But there would still be no incentive for people who play without add ons.

Keep costs the same but award bonus bp for each prestige level (maybe 10% for p1, 25% for p2, 50% for p3).

Allow for the selling or trading in of unwanted items, add-ons, and offerings once p3 lv 50 is reached.

For each prestige level, offer an additional perk at each perk node. So at p1 there would be 2 perks offered at each node where a perk is available, and at p3 there would be 4. You would still only be able to choose 1.

I like the idea and I would like to add something.

You get permanent 10% BP gain increase per each prestige, so you gain 30% more BPS with characters that are P3.

a good way to fix the grind but keep perk tiers is to remve them om the bloodweb. hold the perks you wanna tier up for 3 seconds to tier it up.

Coincidentally, I was trying to remember 'that one great idea I had' today, which led me to dig this thread back up:

It's a way to futureproof the game, improve the grind and improve the reward for prestiging.
