No mither's rework still won't help
So No mither considered as one of or the worst perk in the game and they decided to rework it listen i get the point a challenging perk and such but if you want people to run no mither how about instead of grunts of pain being reduced like iron will and such instead maybe people earn bp or better yet work it like reliance and TINH(This is not happening) where it gives you a boost on something while injured the only time i've used the perk was for a rift challenge and David's adept.

I think it's fine as is. It can become kind of useful against killers like legion or plague and hard counters slugging.
But the BP idea is not bad, but I think it could be abused for BP farming, which I don't think is a massive issue.

No Mither really doesn't counter slugging. Off the top of my head, there's no other perk with such an obvious visual indicator of its individual presence without the perk being activated first - imo, nothing would save No Mither except for having the user start Healthy and only get the permanent Broken status after popping up. Soul Guard was basically the direct upgrade to NM.

I would agree. But I am totally fine with keeping No Mither as a hardmode-Perk. However, there are a few things I would change:
- Scrap the Recovery increase, it does nothing. Seriously, the Survivor has a big "Dont slug me"-Sign...
- Injured Noise Reduction 100%. I dont know why they went for 75%, you cannot really get chased with No Mither, so you have to run Iron Will. This would at least remove the need of playing Iron Will when playing with No Mither.
- Bonus-BPs (100%) in Boldness and Altruism. Boldness, because the players is actually bold for using No Mither and Altruism, because the Perk functions in a way that you become the target so that your friends can escape. I dont want 100% Bonus-BPs in total, this would be a nightmare with double BP-Events.
- No Blood Orbs... This should be done anyway, yes, there is the possibility that there are 4 Survivors with No Mither and Oni cannot get his power, but if you get 4 No Mithers as Oni, you should play the lottery right afterwards...
Obviously it would not be a good Perk after that, but it would be better. And still hardmode.

The perk will never be useful or fun to use in any way until they change it to hide the use of no mither from the killer. logically, the only true way to do this is to have the survivor begin the game in healthy state and once they're injured, they get the broken status effects for the remainder of the trial, and the icon is not visible to the killer.
Currently, from the perspective of the killer, using no mither is no different from holdig a key. You're just asking to get tunneled, because not only do they see it as a threat, but killer mains have somehow convinced themselves that it's toxic and BM...

Like they said though it can be used as a hard mode, and they don't want to take that away. I'm all for that, it's really funny sometimes.

@Aven_Fallen, those are some excellent ideas to adjust No Mither. I would go one step further and suggest you spawn healthy into the Trial, and upon your first hit, you become Broken, but The Killer cannot perceive this.

No mitter need boost chase points like thrill and would have a sense.
0 -
It's... not supposed to really help. It's a perk to make the game harder, that's all.
2 -
I don't think its a good idea to ever give survivors perks that can completely delete a killers ability to use their power.
2 -
It will never happen that 4 No Mithers play against an Oni. I have seen 4 No Mithers exactly once in 6500 hours of playtime, against my Demo. And it was a 4 man David-SWF who just memed around.
3 -
You should probably play more hours then, its still an SWF staple build. And it would still delete a killers power. Its like having a perk that automatically removes pig head traps at the press of a button......just no....

4 No Mithers is an SWF-staple build? Please, dont joke too much. I thought all those evil SWFs only use Meta-Perks... Guess it is one way or another, whatever fits.
Even IF an Oni will go against 4 Mithers (which will almost never happen), he would have 4 Oneshots against him. Not too bad. But not dropping Bloodorbs would at least mean that a team might not lose instantly against an Oni, who gets constant Bloodorbs without any problem.

No mither makes no sense in this game. BHVR has squandered an opportunity to put no mither to real use.
Perks shouldn't always be meta, but at least they don't go against you.
A weak survivor hurts an entire team, and no mither makes a survivor weaker.

If you're doing this then the other buffs don't make sense to be done as well.
The extra bloodpoints reduced noise and no blood orb are meant to compensate for the fact that you're essentially a glowing easy target button and the killer will likely play very differently with you because they can't slug you
Starting off the trail healthy and having no indicator would invalidate the need for such compensation.

I don't see it this way. My feedback is about shielding the fact that you have the perk equipped. Let The Killer surmise you may have No Mither and play differently, but there is no need for them to know with certainty. That fact invalidates the perk because they now know they shouldn't slug you. The ability to fully recover from the dying state is a significant aspect of No Mither.

If only there were other perks survivors could use.

Don't agree with the no blood orbs for Oni. I don't think there should be perks that specifically effect Killer's powers. Small game was an example of a perk that used to give an (even if small) advantage against Trapper and Hag before it got reworked - so I think the devs are trying to steer clear of that kind of thing anyway.
1 -
firstly, nobody who actually wants to win runs no mither
and more importantly, it doesn't matter if Oni can't get his power if everyone is running No Mither, because his power is for instant downing you and he can already do that by just hitting you because you're perma-injured lmaooo

I actually played a game where I got into the lobby and there was a 3-man using No Mither. They asked me to join them in their antics so I put on David with No Mither as well, and we played against a Demo! It was over a year and a half ago and I still have the clip, haha. Were you the Demo?
1 -
This Demo uses Ruin, do you want to insult me?
On a more serious note - nah, this happened some time ago (half a year or something like that). And it were 4 Davids, SWF. (most likely, 3 had matching names, the one Console-David did not, but this is understandable)
1 -
Ah darn! That would have been a heck of a coincidence if you were the Demo! 😛 Oh well!

The fact that the killer has to abandon ideas of slugging you because of that perk or else you'll get up yourself makes it an anti slugging perk and a pretty good one at that. ( not because it's the best perk or even 100% viable but because it disincentivize slugging and punishes those who still attempt slug anyway)

I have a build for this I couldn't use it until it had over 75% muffled pain, DON'T YOU get this nerfed again!! You don't need it you don't need blood points let me have my ultimate Claudette Build you crazy. Ask for a blood point perk. Otherwise improve it not nerf it!!! I want to be able to do a gen in less than a minute solo as Claudette at the risk of death this rush would be great!!!

How would double bps be a nightmare? Otherwise I agree with you

Survivor BP-gain is really bad. Like laughable bad. So BP-Events are a big chance to gain more BPs as Survivor.
And I dont really want to get paired with too many No Mithers during those.
1 -
Ahhhhh, good point I thought u meant more bloodpoints was a bad thing. Maybe a 100% bps boost to everyone in the trial
